Another shocking turn of events proved that England’s top-flight is the most unpredictable league in the world. It certainly wasn’t a weekend jam-packed with goals, with both teams scoring in just two of the matches played.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City suffered the worst possible result of the weekend, losing to his bitter rivals, Manchester City, while it also meant that they’re now two games away from losing their championship status. Elsewhere, the race for the UEFA Champions League spots are starting to heat up with most of the teams chasing the fourth spot finding a bit of form in recent weeks.

After a disappointing display at Crystal Palace, losing 1-0, Watford return to Vicarage Road where they have fond memories of their last home tie. The Hornets ended Liverpool’s 44-game unbeaten run in emphatic fashion in their last home game, smashing the champions-elect 3-0. That result proved that, on their day, Watford are capable of causing an upset against any team in the division.
Leicester City ended their four-match winless run with a resounding 4-0 victory against Aston Villa on Monday night. Jamie Vardy announced his return to the squad with a brace, making him the league’s outright leading scorer with 19 goals.
Back Both Teams to Score at 13/20.

Arsenal 13/10 (Postponed)
Brighton’s winless run in the league stretched to nine games, although Graham Potter will find plenty of positives in earning a goalless draw at Wolves last time out. Their form at the Amex Stadium hasn’t been too pleasing, though, as the Seagulls have won just one of their last eight home encounters.
At the time of writing, Arsenal are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League since the start of the new year and have won their last three league ties. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been in superb form in recent weeks and could look to use this clash to get closer to the 20-goal mark for the campaign.
Put your money on the Away Totals – Over 1.5 Goals at 23/20.

Southampton 14/10
Norwich have shown that they’re ready for the fight as they hope to avoid the drop in their first season back in the Premier League. The Canaries are still six points off safety, but anything is still possible with nine games to go.
At home, Daniel Farke’s men have been decent in the past two months, losing just one of their last five encounters, which came in a 1-0 defeat against Liverpool. Southampton suffered their fourth defeat in five matches as they went down 1-0 at home to Newcastle last weekend. Moussa Djenepo received a red card in that tie and will miss this game through suspension.
My money is on Norwich here at a valuable 37/20.
Bournemouth 14/10

Crystal Palace 21/10
Bournemouth stayed in the drop zone after their winless run continued to four matches. They did, however, give a good account of themselves against Liverpool, and perhaps could be disappointed with the scoreline after two errors led to the Reds’ goals.
Crystal Palace claimed their third victory on the trot when they beat Watford 1-0. It was their third 1-0 victory in succession, which has seen the Eagles climb up to 11th on the table. Bournemouth’s last clean sheet in the league came back in December, when they beat Chelsea 1-0.
At 11/20, Crystal Palace on the Win/Draw Double Chance seems the best bet.
Newcastle United 5/2

Sheffield United 5/4
Sheffield United just won’t go away. Last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Norwich made it three wins in four matches as the Blades sit two points behind Manchester United, with a game in hand. Chris Wilder’s men have been consistent throughout the campaign, and have lost just twice away from home – against Liverpool and Manchester City. N
Newcastle ended their five-game unbeaten run with a 1-0 win at Southampton, although, Steve Bruce’s men did have a man extra for the majority of the tie.

Manchester City seek an urgent response after their disappointing 2-0 derby defeat against Manchester United last week. They do play a catch-up game against Arsenal in midweek, which is seen as a favourable tie at home, but they’ll need to build some momentum going into their crucial UEFA Champions League tie against Real Madrid.
Burnley’s impressive unbeaten run stretched to seven league games when they drew 1-1 at home to Tottenham. The Clarets are still in reach of making the UEFA Europa League spots, and a positive result against Man City here will give them some much-needed confidence in the run-in.
Manchester City to Win & Both Teams to Score at 15/10 is the best bet here.

Chelsea 7/10
Aston Villa looked to have thrown the towel in as their survival hopes begin to hang by a thread. Dean Smith’s men have lost four league games in a row and sit 19th on the table. Assistant coach, John Terry, might still have a few Chelsea connections to perhaps give him some insight on what to expect from his former club, though. The Blues have turned the corner from their recent dip in form, enduring a three-game unbeaten run, including victories over Tottenham and Everton.
Back the visitors here at 7/10.

Wolves 14/10
Sunday’s action kicks off in London as West Ham hope to pick themselves up off the back of that 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend. The Hammers caused plenty of problems for the Gunners, but just couldn’t find the back of the net.
Wolves’ defence is even better than Arsenal’s, which will mean less goalscoring opportunities for David Moyes’ men. Wolves are unbeaten in their last five encounters, keeping clean sheets in four of those ties, including against the likes of Manchester United and Leicester City.
In Wolves’ last away game, they came from behind to beat Tottenham 3-2. Back the away win at 14/10.

Liverpool 15/20
The longest-running top-flight derby takes place on Monday night as Everton welcome Liverpool to Goodison Park in what is expected to be a fiery Merseyside derby. Carlo Ancelotti already has some rivalry with Liverpool after he notoriously suffered a UEFA Champions League defeat in the final after leading 3-0 at half-time while at AC Milan.
Ancelotti has done well since he took over the Toffees, but has lost three games against the big guns – most recently against Chelsea, where his side were smashed 4-0. Liverpool have beaten Everton twice already this term, and after their hopes of claiming the treble are out the window, perhaps they could pull off some sort of treble, beating their bitter rivals three times in the same season.
I fancy Jurgen Klopp’s men to do the job at 15/20.
