LA FLAMBEE took a while to shed her maiden tag but her consistency is clearly noticeable. She had an excuse but still produced a solid post maiden effort over seven furlongs on this track, four weeks ago. In fact, the daughter of Windrush should have finished runner-up but for her jockey not riding her out at the line. She finished just under one length in front of
MIXED EMOTIONS on that occasion and can still confirm the formline despite being 1kg worse off with the latter. The four-year-old filly will prefer this extra furlong and her top veteran jockey will be looking to make amends.

LIGHT CHASER has improved with each run and she relished the rise in distance when posting her career best effort over this c & d in yielding conditions, two weeks ago. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight found decent betting support and she stayed on well for 2nd, beaten just over one length at the line. She has another awkward draw to negotiate but should continue to progress and the bay filly can go one better.
