SILVANO'S PRIDE has her second run after a rest and has solid formlines to her credit. She set the pace in her last start over seven furlongs and kept going well to hold off the chasing pack.

Jockey: A MArcus - Trainer: M De Kock
HAWWAAM makes his much anticipated Cape debut here. He was impressive in his first run back since his Vodacom Durban July mishap when slamming some of the countries top sprinters over six furlongs. He steps up to nine furlongs for today's race and should add win number eight to his tally.
Race 7: SILVER OPERATOR (5)
Jockey: A Marcus - Trainer: V Marshall
SILVER OPERATOR has not finished worse than second in his four starts to date, winning two of them over seven furlongs. He was only collared very late in his only attempt over a mile and with Anton Marcus retaining the ride, he may be the one to side with here. His wide draw is a concern, but he will get all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

TWO FOR TEA improved in her second run in CT. That was only her third career start and she showed her liking for the mile. She does have a wide draw to overcome, but she is likely to have made further improvement since that outing.
