The Bundesliga continues to produce the goods with just one point separating Bayern Munich and Leipzig at the summit.
Borussia Dortmund, city rivals Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen are also in the running but will need to maintain winning form if they are to stand a chance. Let’s get to this weekend’s action.

Friday 28 February
Fortuna Dusseldorf 15/10
Draw 23/10
Hertha Berlin 18/10
Fortuna Dusseldorf ended a winless run of five matches last time out with a well-deserved 2-0 victory away to Freiburg. Hertha Berlin were embarrassingly thumped 5-0 at home by Cologne and will be desperate to turn things around. The hosts will be looking to build on last weekend’s epic victory, while Hertha Berlin are looking to get back to winning ways.
Take Both Teams to Score – Yes – at 7/10.
Saturday 29 February
Hoffenheim 13/2
Draw 5/1
Bayern Munich 3/10
Hoffenheim are without a win in their last three matches but showed excellent fighting spirit last time out as they salvaged a 1-1 draw at Monchengladbach. Bayern Munich are unbeaten in their last nine league games with eight victories. The last five meetings have produced a staggering 25 goals at an average of five per match with both sides finding the back of the net.
I will be playing it safe and climbing on Both Teams to Score – Yes – at 5/10.
Augsburg 47/20
Draw 11/4
Monchengladbach 21/20
Augsburg are winless in their last three games, scoring only once and conceding eight goals in the process. Monchengladbach are unbeaten in their last four matches, including two wins and two draws. The Borussians won the reverse fixture 5-1 and are well worth a punt to pull off the double.
Back Monchengladbach to come away with maximum points.
Dortmund 1/5
Draw 6/1
Freiburg 10/1
Dortmund have been in top form with two wins on the bounce, scoring six goals without shipping any. Freiburg have registered just one win from their last five matches, including a disappointing 2-0 home defeat against Fortuna Dusseldorf. BVB have been firing on all cylinders of late and should see off Freiburg.
The hosts are tipped on the Half-time/Full-time win at 11/20.
Mainz 15/20
Draw 3/1
Paderborn 3/1
Mainz are skating on thin ice and are just two points clear of the relegation zone after their 4-0 whipping at Wolfsburg last weekend. However, Paderborn are rooted to the foot of the table but impressed last time out despite going down 3-2 to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. The last four meetings have produced 19 goals at a rate of 4.75 per game.
Get on the Totals – Over 2.5 Goals – market at 5/10.
Cologne 5/4
Draw 5/2
Schalke 21/10
Cologne will be over the moon following their brilliant 5-0 victory away to Hertha Berlin last time out. Schalke are without a win in their last five games, including a humiliating 5-0 thumping at the hands of Leipzig last weekend. The last few meetings have been cagey affairs between the two sides.
However, with home advantage, Cologne are tipped to edge this one.
Sunday 1 March
Union Berlin 17/10
Draw 22/10
Wolfsburg 33/20
Union Berlin are coming off an impressive and hard-fought 2-1 win away to Eintracht Frankfurt. Wolfsburg are unbeaten in their last four games with three wins, including a 4-0 home win over Mainz last weekend. More goals are on the menu with the both sides likely to go out in hunt of maximum points.
The Over 2.5 Goals market is there for the taking at 19/20.
Leipzig 11/20
Draw 36/10
Bayer Leverkusen 17/4
Leipzig have been in top form of late with back-to-back wins, scoring eight goals and conceding just once. Bayer Leverkusen have also been buzzing with three wins on the spin and will be looking to maintain that form. Another goal fest is on the cards with both sides expected to come out firing.
It’s a bit of a hopeful one but the Both Teams to Score 1st and 2nd Half – Yes / Yes – is tipped at 15/2!
Werder Bremen 31/20
Draw 51/20
Eintracht Frankfurt 16/10
Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt will bring the weekend’s action to a close. The River Islanders have been dismal with five losses on the trot, scoring only once and conceding 12 times. The Eagles have lost back-to-back games but have still looked far better than their opponents.
With both sides desperate to get back to winning ways, this can go either way.
Nonetheless, I feel Eintracht Frankfurt have a little more to offer and are tipped to add more misery to Werder Bremen’s woeful season.
TREBLE @ 28/1
Dortmund HT-FT Win 11/20
Leipzig vs Leverkusen BTTS 1st & 2nd Half 15/2
Cologne Win 5/4
