Race 3.
Two 3yr old fillies could fight out the finish here, with the nod going to
VINTAGE MODEL who finished third on debut over this distance. She would have learnt from the experience and with the natural improvement to be expected, she could be the one to side with today. In addition, she will get 3kg taken off her back thanks to her claiming apprentice.
DANITES is a speedy sort who has showed steady improvement in her last three outings over this trip. She looks the immediate danger to the former. MITHU showed marked improvement when going six furlongs last time out and should not be troubled with the drop in trip.
HEADSPACE returns from a 50 week break, but he showed good improvement in his second outing over this distance and if not too much in need of the run, he should be considered here.
Race 4.
A small, but very competitive field faces the starter here.
MAWAANY MACHINE held on well to win his last start over this c&d and will be looking to follow up here.
QUALITY SEEKER was disappointing in his last outing over this distance when attempting his hat-trick and he will be hoping to bounce hack to winning ways today.
LE JUGE’S last two efforts over this distance have been solid and he finished well last time out over this distance. He should put in another honest performance in this contest.
RAQEEQ has been beaten by under a length in his last three outings and found betting support last time out when narrowly defeated. He will be looking to make amends here.
Race 5.
KINGS FULL has consistent formlines to his credit and finished a close up second last time out over this c&d. He has a poor draw to negotiate, but he should be right up there in the run down to the line.
CHAMPAGNE VEGA is seldom too far behind the action in his runs and did finish second in his last outing over this trip.
CASURINA STAR is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she showed good improvement last time out when winning over 1500M. She was friendless in the betting markets that day, but if she can confirm the effort, she should be respected here
. RED STINA is also a 4yr old filly who just failed to win her last start over seven furlongs when attracting plenty of betting support. She steps up in distance, but she could well be looking for this greater test of stamina.
Race 6.
PEPPI LA FEW completed his hat-trick when winning his last outing over the c&d and the manner in which he has dealt with the opposition in his last three victories suggests that he should be very difficult to topple today.
BOLD WARRIOR put four lengths between himself and the balance of the field to cruse to victory last time out over the c&d. He could be the biggest danger to the former.
PARKO followed up his penultimate win over 1300M with a solid performance over seven furlongs and should be considered here.
FISH ON has consistent formlines to his name and finished strongly to win his last outing over six furlongs and should enjoy going the extra ground today.
Race 7.
This looks to be an extremely open event where finding the winner is no easy task. The narrow first choice goes to
FREDDIE FOX TROT who showed good improvement last time out when dropping to this distance. He has a wide draw to overcome, but on the plus side, he will get 3kgs taken off his allocated weight courtesy of his claiming apprentice.
FIRSTHAND made steady late progress when going the increased distance last time out and a repeat of that effort would see him rival the former.
FOMO on the other hand drops back to six furlongs after a solid last run over 1300M and should be right up there in the mix.
LOVE YOU LUCY is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she was not too far behind in her last outing over this trip and her handy draw is a plus.
Race 8.
USMANOV returns from a 23 week break, but will be looking to complete his hat-trick today. He has a wideish draw to deal with, but he still looks to be the one to side with here.
GYPSY TOFF on the other hand narrowly missed out on her trio of wins last time out over five furlongs. She is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she will be hoping to get back to winning ways today.
ROYAL WITNESS has consistent form to his name over five furlongs. He has his first run for his new trainer, but if fully acclimatized to his new surroundings, he should be a factor today.
BOOM CHICKA BOOM shows plenty of toe in his runs and will certainly enjoy the drop in distance and should be included in all bets.
Race 9.
Two 3yr old fillies could show the males the way home here, with
READY BABE coming up as the top choice. She is unbeaten in both runs to date and although dropping slightly in distance from her last victory over 1100M, she could keep her unbeaten run in tack.
ZAC ATTACK also won her last start over 1100M when returning from a 17 week rest. She should be right up there in the firing line today.
DEVIL’S TEMPTATION led from jump to wire when winning his last outing over this c&d and could prove difficult to peg back over the closing stages of the race.
PATCHES was just one length back in his last start over five furlongs and will enjoy the 3kgs being taken off his back for the services of his claiming apprentice.
