There's a cracker of a game in store this Tuesday evening with an in-form Wasps side taking on the stuttering Sale Sharks.
The restart to the Gallagher Premiership season has been extremely kind to this week's hosts who have registered wins over Northampton (21-34) and the Worcester Warriors (32-17). The same cannot be said for the Sale Sharks who have lost both of their fixtures since the return going down 16-10 to Harlequins in Round 14 and 22-32 to Exeter in Round 15.
Verdict: Wasps (-12.5) 9/10
While I expect another improved showing from Sale, I think they may well struggle here as they will have to rest a number of their big-name players due to the Premiership rest protocols.

The pick of the round's action is up next with an incredibly talented Bristol Bears side taking on Premiership favourites, the Exeter Chiefs.
The Bears have enjoyed a fantastic fortnight and followed up their 16-12 win over Saracens with a resounding 24-33 away victory over Gloucester. The two wins have seen them move up to second spot on the table. Should they manage to make it three wins on the trot, they will then be well within striking distance of Exeter who currently sit eight points ahead of them on the Premiership log.
The Chiefs will be no pushover, however. The men from Devonshire have also been in solid touch since the return of Rugby in England beating Leicester 26-13 in Round 14 and Sale 22-32 in Round 15.
Verdict: Bristol
This is really an interesting one. The handicap is rather high but Bristol do have their big guns in for this one. The deciding factor for me is that there's a lot of rain floating around Bristol today so I'm going to back the plus as it may hinder Bristol's running game.

We're over to North London for our next game where Saracens will take on Gloucester. As has been noted a million times already since the season restart, Saracens have little to play for here as they are already relegated. Gloucester, on the other hand, are gunning for a semi-final berth and really need the win here after their nine-point defeat to Bristol.
Saracens enjoyed a better time of it in Round 15 as they bounced back from a defeat to Bristol by beating Harlequins 38-24.
Verdict: Saracens (-)
Both teams will be affected by the player rest period protocol but I reckon Saracens stocks run a great deal deeper than Gloucester's. Hence, I'm on the home side clearing the minus 'cap.
Leicester Tigers v London Irish

Next up it's the Leicester Tigers taking on London Irish. Both teams have struggled since the season got back underway again with Leicester going down 26-13 to Exeter and 16-38 to Bath, while Irish lost 34-17 to Bath and 3-27 to Northampton.
When the two sides met at the tail end of last year, Irish put on one of their best displays of the season as they ran out 36-11 victors.
Verdict: Leicester
While the Tigers have suffered two heavy defeats in the past fortnight, they do look a slightly better side than their opponents.

The luckless Worcester Warriors will be looking to bounce back from their 15-point defeat to Wasps when they take on 'Quins in Thursday's opener.
The Warriors just can't buy a win at the minute. They looked really good during the opening salvos of their Round 14 game against Gloucester until a red card to Melani Nani, which saw them implode and end up going down 15-44 to the Cherry and Whites. They also produced the goods for the first 40-minutes against Wasps this past week, and held a decent lead at half-time but then imploded again eventually going down 32-17.
'Quins have enjoyed a slightly better restart as they beat Sale 16-10 in Round 14. They struggled last weekend, however, going down 38-24 to Saracens.
Verdict: Worcester
I'm banking on Worcester grabbing a big win here. They've looked good in patches this week and I reckon they'll finally produce an 80-minute performance.

The Round 16 action will come to a close in Northampton where the Saints will play host to a red-hot Bath outfit.
The visitors have been in sensational form over the past two weeks beating London Irish 34-17 in Round 14 and Leicester 16-38 in Round 15. Northampton have been more hit-and-miss as they went down 21-34 to Wasps in Round 14 but then bounced back this past weekend by beating London Irish 27-3.
Verdict: Bath
I really thing this Bath side will take Northampton to the cleaners this Wednesday evening.
