Sri Lanka and England return to Galle for the second and final Test of their series with the tourists holding the edge.

A first-innings collapse by Sri Lanka ensured they were too far gone by the time they strung together a few positive sessions, but their improved displays have set up a fascinating climax.
Sri Lanka vs England | 22 January - 26 January 2021 | Galle International Stadium
To Win Match
Sri Lanka 7/4
Draw 33/10
England 23/20
Sri Lanka
Lahiru Thirmimanne's maiden Test hundred was perhaps the biggest plus point for the hosts in an inconsistent and frustrating display first up.
Sri Lanka's spinners did not take control of the English batting lineup and shows just how much they miss the presence of Rangana Herath.
Lasith Embuldeniya is the man who looks most likely to assume Herath's mantle, but he has a long way to go to emulate Sri Lanka's second-most prolific wicket-taker.
Injured Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne, out-of-sorts Kusal Mendis, young batsman Minod Bhanuka and fast bowlers Lahiru Kumara and Nuwan Pradeep have all been released from the bio-bubble and will not feature in the second Test.
England
England have their skipper available and in great form after he ended his wait for a Test hundred in the series opener and went on to notch his fourth double-ton.
It is not secret that England are using this series as a dry-run for their crucial World Test Championship series away to India and they have shown promise, but there are still lingering scars from previous outings in Asia.
Dom Bess might have a case for being considered the luckiest bowler in the world after his five-fer in the first Test which was not the result of great spincraft but rather a Sri Lankan implosion. Jack Leach showed his willingness to grind with his second innings five-wicket haul but questions remain as to whether either should be considered England's best tweakers.
Jonny Bairstow has a point to prove after his axing from the Test team in the home summer and could be the tourists dangerman in this match alongside skipper Root.
Verdict: England 23/20
It's likely to be close, but back England to get the job done at a massive 23/20.
