With all the footy taking place this weekend it would be wrong not to round up some of the more eye-catching fixtures, best bets and value bets! There are only a couple of weeks remaining in the season, so let’s make the most of it!
Friday 14 April
French Ligue 1
Angers 17/2 | Draw 17/4 | PSG 3/10
Angers have struggled in recent weeks, suffering three losses from their last four matches, including back-to-back defeats. Their opponents, PSG, trail Monaco by just three points with seven games to go, so anything less than a win will be detrimental to their hopes of reclaiming the title.
The Defending champions have won three of the last four meetings against Angers, scoring 10 goals and conceding just three times. PSG have won their last five matches on the spin and are tipped to make it six in a row.
Back the away team on the (-1) Handicap at 15/20.
Portuguese Primeira Liga
Benfica 2/9 | Draw 5/1 | Maritimo 11/1
Another league that is going down to the wire with just a point separating Benfica and Porto. The former take on Maritimo, who have lacked consistency in recent weeks, only capitalising on home advantage, while struggling on the road.
Benfica will be determined to maintain their undefeated record at home this season. The Portuguese giants have scored goals at will and have been water-tight in defence.
The last 14 meetings have 12 games produce Over 2.5 Goals – I suggest you follow the trend at 11/20.

English Premier League
Tottenham 1/4 | Draw 47/10 | Bournemouth 17/2
Tottenham have the best home record in the league as they remain the only unbeaten team on their ground, which includes 14 wins and two draws from 16 matches, scoring 39 goals and conceding just eight times.
Bournemouth suffered a 3-1 thrashing in front of their own fans at the hands of Chelsea last time out. Their record on the road has been terrible this term, registering only two victories from 16 travels.
Get on the Halftime/Fulltime home win at 7/10.
Italian Serie A
Inter Milan 21/20 | Draw 51/20 | AC Milan 47/20
For the life of me I cannot understand why Inter Milan are priced up as favourites against AC Milan – after all, the sides share the iconic San Siro Stadium. AC Milan have also shown better form in recent weeks, claiming a 4-0 home win against Palermo last time out.
Inter have suffered back-to-back 2-1 defeats at the hands of Sampdoria and Sassuolo. The Nerazzurri are lacking a cutting edge in the final third, while their backline has looked shaky, to say the least.
I’m getting on AC Milan victory at 47/20! But for the conservative punter, I would suggest climbing on the win/draw Double Chance at 7/10.
Russian Premier League
CSKA Moskow 8/10 | Draw 22/10 | Rostov 36/10
We head to Russia next, where CSKA Moscow have been in top form as they remain unbeaten in their last 10 matches in all competitions. Their opponents, Rostov, are winless and scoreless in their last four league games, playing to four goalless stalemates.
It proves they are a tough team to beat, but CSKA have the attacking prowess to break the deadlock. They have won the last seven meetings at home against Rostov and are tipped to add to that tally.
Get on the CSKA Moscow win at 8/10!
South African PSL
Highlands Park 7/2 | Draw 23/10 | Orlando Pirates 8/10
Basement-dwellers Highlands Park aren’t showing much fighting spirit in their performances. The newcomers have lost four of their last six matches, including two defeats on the bounce. Orlando Pirates showed their quality midweek with their first league victory under coach Kjell Jonevret, comprehensively beating Maritzburg United 2-0.
The win came after their moral boosting thrashing of Free State Stars, annihilating Ea Lla Koto 4-1 in front of their own fans.
The Buccaneers look back on track and I doubt Highlands Park will stop them from grabbing all three points on Saturday evening.
South African NFD
Black Leopards 7/10 | Draw 24/10 | Real Kings 7/2
Black Leopards have been in top form with seven wins from their last eight games. Lidoda Duvha are unbeaten in their last six home games, including four wins on the spin. They won the reverse tie 2-1 and look decent value for the win here.
Real Kings FC may have one of the best home records in the league but they also have one of the worst away records as they remain winless on their travels, scoring eight goals and conceding 17 times.
The home win should be backed.

Spanish La Liga
Real Betis 16/10 | Draw 9/4 | Eibar 33/20
Real Betis are nine points clear of the drop, so they do have a bit of breathing space but not enough to guarantee their safety. Los Verdiblancos have been dismal in recent weeks with five losses from their last seven matches, including three on the spin.
Eibar have been in top form with three straight victories. They won the reverse tie 3-1 and are tipped to pull the double over Real Betis.
The away win is tipped.
German Bundesliga
Werder Bremen 5/4 | Draw 24/10 | Hamburger 2/1
Werder Bremen have been in simply sensational form and are unbeaten in their last eight league matches. Die Werderaner have won their last three home games, scoring eight goals without conceding.
Hamburg have also managed to extricate themselves from the relegation zone, for the time being, losing only one of their last six. However, they have suffered nine losses from 14 games, scoring 10 goals and conceding 29 times.
The home win is just too good to pass up at 5/4!
Dutch Eredivisie
Feyenoord 9/20 | Draw 7/2 | Utrecht 52/10
Eredivisie table-toppers Feyenoord lead Ajax by a single point with only four games to go until the season concludes. They remain the only team unbeaten on their own ground with 13 wins from 15 games, scoring a colossal 51 goals and conceding just 10 times.
Utrecht come to town and in top form as well, winning their last four matches, scoring 11 goals and conceding only once.
This one is expected to go down to the wire but in the end, I’m backing Feyenoord on the Matchbet + Both Teams To Score – Yes – at 23/20.
