Second-placed Saracens will be looking to close the gap on first-placed Exeter when they make the short trip to Northampton to take on the Saints.
With the regular season fast approaching its close, Saracens will need to pull out all the stops if they are to leapfrog the Exeter Chiefs into top spot on the Premiership log. A bonus point victory over a Northampton Saints side that has nothing bar pride to play for could see them close the gap on the current table toppers who face a home tie against Gloucester.

The Saints have endured a horror season with coaching changes and a plethora of injuries hampering their campaign greatly. The famous old club currently sits in an unfamiliar tenth position on the table, only 15 points off last-placed London Irish. And while the 'Saints are unlikely to be drawn into a full-on relegation dogfight, they could well finish the season in second-to-last, which would be a major embarrassment.
This weekend's hosts have lost their last three fixtures with their latest loss being a 25-22 away defeat to the Newcastle Falcons. Their last victory came in mid-February when they beat London Irish 25-17 in Northampton.
Saracens
The North Londoners have been rather a hit-and-miss in recent weeks with victories over Sale (3-13) and Harlequins (24-11) being overshadowed by defeats to Exeter (24-12) and Leicester (20-28).
Saracens tend to produce their best rugby at this time of the year, so they are more than capable of making up the eight points on log-leaders Exeter despite their only being four rounds left in the regular season.
Saracens managed to get the better of the Saints when the two sides met on the opening day of the season, with this weekend's visitors running out 55-24 victors. A repeat of that bonus point result would be music to fans of the club.

This looks to be an absolute banker. 'Sarries usually hit their straps at this time of the year and I can't see them having too much trouble putting away a Northampton side that is extremely low on confidence.
