There was another reshuffle at the top of the pack last weekend as Bayern Munich annihilated Borussia Dortmund 5-0 to reclaim top spot. That victory will have given the Bavarians a massive confidence booster in their quest for a record seventh consecutive Bundesliga title, while it was a demoralizing defeat for the Black and Yellow army.
Just five rounds of top-flight German football remains with BVB only a point behind the defending champions. Let’s get to round 29’s action.

Relegation-threatened Nuremburg have shown a bit of fighting spirit of late with a 3-0 home win over Augsburg before playing a hard-earned 1-1 draw at Stuttgart. Schalke have been dismal with nine losses from their last 10 matches in all competitions.
The hosts are fighting for their top-flight status and if the Royal Blues continue to struggle, they might just find themselves in the same predicament.

Werder Bremen have been impressive as they remain unbeaten in their last 15 games. Freiburg are winless in their last three matches, including a 5-0 humbling at the hands of Mainz. These sides played to a 1-1 draw in the reverse tie.
However, Freiburg are without a win in their last six travels and are likely to struggle on Saturday.
Back Werder Bremen to capitalize on home advantage at 6/10!

Borussia Monchengladbach 6/10
Basement-dwellers Hannover have lost their last eight matches, scoring just five times and conceding 26 goals. Monchengladbach have managed just one win from their last eight games but have won seven of the last eight meetings against Hannover.
This one is likely to be a cagey affair with both sides battling to find winning form.
Nonetheless, I still think the Borussians should do enough to come away with maximum points.

Wolfsburg 9/2
Leipzig have been in top form with an unbeaten record of seven wins and three draws from their last 10 league games. Wolfsburg have lacked consistency in recent weeks, utilizing home advantage but suffering on the road.
The Wolves have lost back-to-back travels against Bayern Munich (6-0) and Borussia Dortmund (2-0).
The Red Bulls are tipped to edge the win.
Stuttgart 31/10

Bayer Leverkusen 15/20
Stuttgart are without a win in their last four matches, while Bayer Leverkusen have lost three games on the spin. The hosts are fighting relegation and will be desperate to pull up their socks.
The last four meetings between these sides have proved to be cagey with just seven goals being scored in total at an average of 1.75 per game.
With that being said, the Totals – Under 2.5 Goals – market looks a good bet at 15/10!

Mainz 15/2
Dortmund will be licking their wounds on Saturday evening and will be looking to put their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Bayern Munich behind them. Mainz were absolutely ruthless last time out as they hammered Freiburg 5-0 at home.
BVB remain unbeaten at home and while I do feel they should return to winning ways – not in convincing fashion – I still see them conceding. Mainz are likely to at least find the back of the net after their morale boosting victory.

Hertha Berlin 47/10
Hoffenheim are unbeaten in their last four matches with three victories, including a 4-0 win at Augsburg last time out. Hertha Berlin have been terrible with three straight defeats, scoring four goals and conceding 12 times.
Hoffenheim have won their last three home games in a row, while the Old Lady have lost their last three.
The home win looks ripe for the picking.
Dusseldorf 10/1

Bayern Munich 2/9
Dusseldorf have been impressive of late with two wins on the bounce. However, Bayern Munich are undefeated in their last eight league games, including an epic 5-0 victory over title-rivals Borussia Dortmund last weekend.
Although the newcomers have proven tough to beat in their first season, the Bavarians are a different beast.
Get on the Bayern Munich Halftime-Fulltime win at 6/10.
Eintracht Frankfurt 5/10

Augsburg 5/1
Eintracht Frankfurt are unbeaten in their last 15 matches in all competitions, including five wins on the trot. Augsburg have been dismal of late with back-to-back defeats without scoring, conceding seven goals.
The Eagles won the corresponding fixture 3-1 and will be looking to complete the double.
Back the home team to win and add to all multiples.
