The 2018/19 season has seen Toulouse become a dominant force again with Ugo Mola's men topping the regular season log with 21 wins and two draws from their 26 games. Their immaculate run hasn't stopped there with Toulouse beating a spirited La Rochelle outfit 20-6 in last weekend's semi-finals.
While Toulouse have produced some extravagant rugby this term it's likely they'll take a very conservative approach to this one and look to take kicks at goal when on offer while keeping things tight. This tactic worked a charm last week as they suffocated La Rochelle out of the game.
Clermont
Clermont also enjoyed a solid regular season winning 16 of their 26 games but still ended some 15 points behind their opponents for this weekend. They were actually slightly more impressive during last week's semi-finals as they beat a very dangerous Lyon side 33-10. They have some ban in-form players among their ranks at the minute and will offer a stiff challenge here.
Not much has separated these two sides this season with the duo drawing the first round robin fixture 20-20 and then Toulouse edging the second 47-44. We're likely to be in for yet another tight game this Saturday.
