Some dressed to match their racing colours,
Others just content to be front row.
Nimbly flitting from flower to flower,
Social Butterflies are Queens of this Day.
Spreading what’s gathered gives them power,
Collecting nectar! Never tiring! “Hooray!”
Altogether it’s a colourful show,
From casual racegoers to those in the know.
Paint your own picture, be who you’ll be,
It’s socialising in the extreme, sweet pea!
