SPARKLING WATER caught the eye when running on from last over 1800m at the Vaal last time. She won on debut in fine style over 1450m on this course. The daughter of Silvano looks to be above average and will be mowing down the frontrunners in the run down to the line.

DUBAWI PRINCESS was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over this distance at the Vaal. Lyle Hewitson retains the ride and if repeating that effort, she should notch up her third career victory. RISE AS ONE'S last start can be ignored as she was reported to be not striding out. Her penultimate effort when finishing second over 1400m was encouraging. She takes a rise in class today, but is lightly raced and looks to have scope.

TREND MASTER was in need of his comeback run over a distance short of his best. His form prior to that outing was good. He has won twice and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. He should strip a much fitter horse today and can get back to winning ways.
