Borussia Monchengladbach’s 1-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen was the Foals’ fifth straight defeat across all competitions as the highly-rated Marco Rose aims to overturn a seven-match winless streak and end his spell at Monchengladbach on a high note before joining new club Borussia Dortmund. The visitors will look to carry a positive result into their upcoming Champions League tie with Manchester City and snatch the win at 9/10.

Wolfsburg’s glorious form was snapped with a 2-1 loss at Hoffenheim and now Oliver Glasner’s troops look to get back to winning ways when bottom-of-the-barrel Schalke make the trip to the Volkswagen Arena. Die Wolfe remain unbeaten on home soil with seven wins and four draws which finds them in third-place behind RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich. Schalke settled for a share of the spoils in a goalless draw last Friday with fellow relegation strugglers Mainz – surely the Royal Blues are at a point of no return and will contest their football in 2. Mainz would be disappointed with the point they collected from Schalke, missing out on the opportunity to elevate themselves out of the drop zone. Freiburg come into the clash after suffering a 3-0 loss to title-chasing RB Leipzig, but the Breisgau Brazilians are still within touching distance of UEFA Europa League qualification with a strong finish to the season. When these sides clash, it’s not the most enjoyable for goalkeepers. Take Over 2.5 Goals at 9/10 to come home flying between these opponents for a sixth straight meeting.

Union Berlin kept their third clean sheet in four games as the Iron One’s played out to a goalless draw at Arminia Bielefeld. Goalkeeper Andreas Luthe enjoyed his sixth shutout of the campaign since joining from Augsburg and really needs his strikers to get on the scoresheet to navigate them from seventh on the standings into a UEFA Europa League berth. Cologne claimed a point in the draw with Werder Bremen following three straight losses. The Billy Goats desperately need to put a few results together as they are precariously hovering above the relegation zone, just three points from safety. My money is firmly on Union Berlin to beat Cologne for the sixth consecutive meeting.

Borussia Dortmund were building momentum with four straight wins across all competitions until they met the red juggernaut known as Bayern Munich. The Yellow and Blacks have a crunch midweek UEFA Champions League clash with Sevilla prior to this clash which will definitely provide a much-needed advantage to the visitors. Hertha Berlin snapped a nine-match unbeaten streak, beating Augsburg 2-1 which temporarily moved the Old Lady out of the drop zone. Erling Haaland blasted four goals when these sides last met which secured a 5-2 victory for BVB, who’ll be hoping their star striker can inspire them once more. Instead of the home win at 5/10, I’m backing Over 2.5 Goals at 11/20.

Bayer Leverkusen ended a poor spell of five games without a win by edging Borussia Monchengladbach 1-0 thanks to Patrik Schick’s second-half strike. Die Werkself will hope their big-money signing Schick, who was recruited to fill the massive void left by the dynamic Kai Havertz, can help them finish the season well, with Leverkusen just three points away from qualifying for the Champions League despite having a major hiccups throughout January and February. Arminia Bielefeld come into the clash with just one win on their travels all season – a 1-0 win over bottom side Schalke. Clean Sheet Home Team (Yes) is the best bet at even money.

RB Leipzig are just two points off log leaders Bayern Munich, and with 10 games left to be played, coach Julian Nagelsmann will surely target the maximum, adding another 30 points on the board that could possibly earn the club their first major trophy – the Bundesliga Meisterschale that has been in Bayern Munich’s possession for the past eight years in a row. Eintracht Frankfurt will be looking to get back to winning ways after disappointing results in the last two weeks, following their 2-1 win over Bayern Munich that helped the hosts gain ground on the leaders, but now the Eagles must help themselves to leapfrog Wolfsburg into third position. This game will come a few days after the Red Bulls meet Liverpool in the Champions League, but my money is still firmly on the home win at 7/10.
Stuttgart 27/20

Hoffenheim 7/4 (19:00)
Stuttgart will aim to lift themselves into the top half of the table and extend their unbeaten record to five matches when Hoffenheim make the trip to the Mercedes Benz Arena. Towering forward Sasa Kalajdzic has scored in three straight home games and will aim to make the net bulge again this time around. Hoffenheim ended in-form Wolfsburg’s winning run with a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Christoph Baumgartner and Andrej Kramaric. The previous meeting earlier this season ended in a 3-3 stalemate at the Pre-Zero Arena, so we’re set to end this weekend’s action off with fireworks. Both Halves Over 1.5 Goals is well worth a punt at 5/2.
