Led by a century from skipper Tom Latham, whose steady hand was at the wheel throughout the chase, New Zealand wrapped up the series in Christchurch giving them some leeway to experiment.
New Zealand may choose to rest star quick Trent Boult under the circumstances with Tim Southee likely to come in for his fellow veteran.
Mark Chapman might be afforded a run out in the top-order, although it's tough to envision who could make way for the former Hong Kong international.
New Zealand have a series win secured but can't really afford to muck about with Super League points at this stage.
Bangladesh
It was a much better effort from Bangladesh in the second ODI taking the game deep before running out of steam right at the end as New Zealand powered to victory.
Runs for their experienced players and better bowling from those with international experience are the clear path to greater success for this Bangladesh side.
When they get things right they don't look far off the top sides in the world, but they still have far too many off-days to be a real threat to the big boys.
Mohammad Mithun's belligerent knock towards the back-end of their innings in Christchurch was a big positive for the tourists and gave them something to bowl at.
Mistafizur Rahman and the other quick bowlers need to find their lengths much quicker for this team to take a win on this tour.
