And if you're looking for a bit of value, then you're in the right place! Money is the aim and football is the game. Enough pleasantries, chit chat and rhyming, let's get down to business!
Saturday 1 April
English Premier League
Leicester City 1/1 | Draw 24/10 | Stoke 26/10
Defending EPL champions Leicester showed some top form before the international break, winning four consecutive matches in all competitions, including a 2-0 UEFA Champions League home victory over Sevilla to advance to the quarter-finals of the prestigious tournament with a 3-2 aggregate win over the La Liga outfit.
Stoke have blown hot and cold throughout the campaign. The Potters have claimed just three wins from 14 travels and fell to a 2-1 defeat on home soil at the hands of Chelsea last time out. The Foxes aren’t out of the woods just yet. They are only six points clear of the drop zone and will look to further themselves from the bottom three teams.
The home win looks a top bet.
Spanish La Liga
Villarreal 8/10 | Draw 5/2 | Eibar 33/10
Villarreal remain in the hunt for a top four place and will be desperate to collect all three points against Eibar on Saturday. The Yellow Submarines have won three of their last four matches and will be eager to build on that.
Eibar have done well for only their second season in the Spanish top flight. Los Armeros are without a win in their last four games, including three draws and one defeat in the process.
It might not be all cut and dry but the 8/10 on Villarreal to come out on top is just too good to pass up.
German Bundesliga
Schalke 26/10 | Draw 5/2 | Borussia Dortmund 19/20
Schalke have been impressive of late with back-to-back victories, scoring four goals without conceding. Dortmund are up next, and the Borussia-based side have been in top form with six wins from their last seven matches in all competitions.
Calling a result here might be difficult but looking at head-to-heads, both sides have found the back of the net in the last nine meetings played at the Veltins-Arena.
Get on Both Teams To Score (Yes) at 6/10.
Dutch Eredivisie
PEC Zwolle 7/10 | Draw 28/10 | Excelsior 7/2
Zwolle will be looking to pick up where they left off after claiming a 3-1 victory away to Go Ahead Eagles. The Blauwvingers have also won two home games on the bounce, scoring five goals and conceding just once.
Relegation-threatened Excelsior have the worst away record in the league with just one win from 13 matches on the road, scoring 10 goals and conceding 28 times. Zwolle are unbeaten against Excelsior in the last six meetings, including a 2-0 victory in the reverse tie.
Back the home team to get the job done at 7/10.
South African PSL
Free State Stars 33/20 | Draw 2/1 | Orlando Pirates 33/20
After a mere four wins from 21 matches, scoring just 17 goals, Free State Stars find themselves second from bottom on the PSL standings. All three of those victories came on home soil and Ea Lla Koto will look to utilise home advantage once more.
The Buccaneers drew their last four ABSA Premiership matches and recorded a 3-1 win over EC Bees in the Nedbank Cup. Pirates will be confident of building on that win, especially as they won the reverse fixture 1-0 in November.
Back Kjell Jonevret’s side to come away with maximum points.
Scottish Premier League
Rangers 1/4 | Draw 9/2 | Motherwell 17/2
Rangers have been excellent on their own ground with nine wins from 14 matches. Back-to-back home wins in the league and Scottish FA Cup has seen them score a colossal 10 goals without conceding. Motherwell have been dreadful in recent weeks with six defeats from their last seven matches.
This one has the potential to be a goal fest, so get on the Totals market – Over 2.5 Goals at 5/10.
South African NFD
Real Kings FC 1/1 | Draw 22/10 | Milano United 11/4
Newcomers Real Kings FC have been fairly decent in their first season in the NFD. Currently placed 11th on the standings, the KwaZulu-Natal based club have been strong at home with six wins from 10 matches and will be determined to capitalise on home advantage yet again.
Milano United have lost nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions. The Kinnes have the worst away record in the league with nine losses from 10 travels, scoring just seven goals and conceding 25 times.
The home win is the way to go.
Sunday 2 April
Italian Serie A
Chievo 17/20 | Draw 47/20 | Crotone 34/10
I’m going to make this short and sweet! Chievo are off the back of a 4-1 thrashing away to Bologna but will gladly return to their fortress, where they have won back-to-back games, scoring six goals without conceding. Crotone are winless on their travels, scoring seven goals and conceding 27 times.
Back the home win at a valuable 17/20.
Portuguese Primeira Liga
Arouca 57/10 | Draw 32/10 | Sporting Lisbon 9/20
Arouca have been horrendous in recent weeks with six losses on the trot, while their record against Sporting doesn’t bode well for me either. They have lost the last nine meetings in all competitions against the title contenders, and I just don’t see that changing here.
Sporting are unbeaten in their last six matches with five wins and one draw. They have won their last three away games and at 9/20, are well worth a punt to make it four on the trot.
Those like myself that are looking for more value can take them on the (-1) Handicap at 5/4.
Monday 3 April
Russian Premier League
Rostov 31/20 | Draw 39/20 | Krasnodar 19/10
Rostov are unbeaten at home in the league with seven wins and three draws from 10 matches, scoring 15 goals and conceding just twice. They also earned commendable home draws against Bayern Munich (0-0) in the UEFA Champions League and Man United (1-1) in the UEFA Europa League.
Krasnodar have registered just one win from eight travels this term. There is just too much value on the home win for me not to get involved.
At 31/20 Rostov are well worth a strike!
