But in both cases they failed to hold on to their lead, often let down by ill-discipline and fatigue in the latter stages of the match - likely due to altitude. The Vunipola brothers have been ruled out of the tour after Billy refractured his arm, while prop Makro is heading back to England for family reasons.

With the series wrapped up, I expect the Springboks to take the foot off the gas, allowing the English to break their losing streak and with wet conditions expected in Cape Town, I'll have a small bet on the English.
