The IRB Under 20 Championship is fast approaching its close with the first set of play-offs taking place this Tuesday, 12 June. The two headline clashes will see the Baby Boks square off with the English and the Baby Blacks take on hosts, France.

The Argentines are a good side when in sync and I can see them getting their act together against the Welsh to clear a modest handicap.

Ireland edged the 2018 Under 20 Six Nations game between the sides 25-20. I expect a similarly close scoreline but with the Scots ending up as victors.

The Italians should be able to stay in a rather large handicap here. They're a dogged side and I don't think the Australians will be able to put them away.

I can't see this Japanese side able to live with the heavyweight Georgian pack. My money is firmly on the Georgians clearing the handicap.

This South African side seems a cobbled together outfit and are desperately lacking a real physical presence in midfield. I can't see this solid English side having any troubles surpassing the handicap.
