Since the start of the season, never have we had a weekend like this with plenty of blockbuster ties to look forward to this weekend. The gameweek kicks off at the King Power Stadium where Leicester City host Chelsea, and concludes with a humdinger at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs welcome Manchester City to London. In between that, Wolves travel up north to face Manchester United at Old Trafford, while there’s a massive six-pointer down at the foot of the table when Newcastle meet Norwich on Saturday. Without further ado, let’s get straight into it!

Saturday 1 February
Leicester City 16/10
Draw 26/10
Chelsea 16/10
(14:30)
League football returns with a fiery encounter as Leicester City welcome Chelsea to the King Power in Saturday’s early kick-off. The Foxes sit one place above the Blues in third spot with an eight-point lead over Frank Lampard’s men. A win for Brendan Rodgers’ side will give them a much-needed cushion in securing UEFA Champions League football, while they’ll also have their eyes set on Manchester City in second place.
Chelsea’s away form has been well-documented this season with Lampard’s charges getting more points on the road than they have at Stamford Bridge, however, they’ve failed to win their last two away trips in the league, drawing at Brighton and losing at Newcastle.
My money is on Leicester City at 16/10.
Liverpool 3/10
Draw 9/2
Southampton 8/1
(17:00)
Liverpool host Southampton this Saturday as the Reds look to stretch further ahead in their pursuit for the club’s first-ever Premier League trophy. At home, Jurgen Klopp’s men have been unstoppable, winning all 12 of their league games at Anfield. Any price on the home win is a good price – consider it free money.
Southampton have found a bit of form and are challenging in the top half of the table again, but Liverpool are a different beast.
Take the Reds on the (-1) Handicap at 15/20.
Newcastle 5/4
Draw 47/20
Norwich City 23/10
(17:00)
Newcastle seem to be finding their feet at the perfect time, enduring a three-game unbeaten run heading into this game. The Toon Army were overwhelming underdogs away to Wolves, Everton and at home to Chelsea, but still managed to avoid defeat in all three ties, even beating Frank Lampard’s men in their last home fixture.
Norwich are dead last and look a long way off survival at the moment. The Canaries have won just once away from home all season, scoring just six times.
The home win looks a real certainty here at 5/4.
Bournemouth 11/10
Draw 26/10
Aston Villa 47/20
(17:00)
Another six-pointer on the horizon sees Bournemouth and Aston Villa lock horns at the Vitality Stadium. Both sides have been sucked into a relegation scramble after a fairly impressive start to the campaign. The Cherries ended a four-match losing streak with a 3-1 home win over Brighton, while Aston Villa performed a stunning comeback victory over Watford, winning 2-1 at Villa Park.
With home advantage, Bournemouth should do enough to find the back of the net, while their frail defence are certain to concede a goal against the likes of Jack Grealish and co.
Back Both Teams to Score here at 6/10.
Watford 37/20
Draw 23/10
Everton 15/10
(17:00)
In another interesting tie, Watford square up with Everton at Vicarage Road. The Hornets have been buzzing since the arrival of Nigel Pearson at the helm, enduring a four-game unbeaten run on home soil, beating the likes of Manchester United, Wolves and Aston Villa, while they also drew with Tottenham in their last home outing.
After a bright start under Carlo Ancelotti, Everton have taken a slight dip in form, winning just one of their last four league ties. Overall, the Toffees have won just twice on the road all season.
The Home/Draw Double Chance seems the way to go at 5/10.
West Ham 15/10
Draw 47/20
Brighton 37/20
(17:00)
West Ham will return to the London Stadium for the third time in the space of seven days after losing their FA Cup tie at home to West Brom, then facing Liverpool in a catch-up game in midweek.
David Moyes hasn’t been able to get the Hammers back to their resilient best, but as time goes by, you get the feeling that the Scot could get the team playing his brand of football. Brighton have also taken a dip in their form, failing to win in any of their last four league encounters, while also losing three on the bounce away from home.
At 15/10, West Ham should get the job done.
Crystal Palace 43/20
Draw 21/10
Sheffield United 29/20
(17:00)
Crystal Palace face the daunting task of facing high-flying Sheffield United this weekend. Palace have been inconsistent this season, particularly at home where they have won four, drawn four and lost four. Sheffield United have been the talk of the town this campaign and find themselves just six points off Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League spots.
The Blades have only suffered two defeats away from home, which came against Liverpool and Manchester City – so one can excuse those two results. As much as they’ve proven tough to beat on the road, no team has drawn more games than them away from their turf.
I’m tipping a share of the spoils here.
Manchester United 23/20
Draw 23/10
Wolves 51/20
(19:30)
In one of the biggest games of the weekend, Manchester United welcome Wolves to Old Trafford in Saturday’s main event. United have been plagued by injuries while Wolves are arguably the most unwanted team to play against outside the top six. With Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba all injured, the Red Devils could see themselves drop further down the chase for top four unless they dwell into the transfer market before Friday’s deadline.
Wolves, despite their struggles at times, have proven difficult to beat, losing just six times this term – the same amount as Leicester City and Arsenal, two less than Man United, Spurs and Chelsea. United have lost five times since the 22nd of December which makes it extremely tough to tip them with confidence.
I’m going bold here and backing a draw at 23/10, perhaps I would take it one further and back the Correct Score: 1-1 at 47/10.
Sunday 2 February
Burnley 26/10
Draw 5/2
Arsenal 21/20
(16:00)
Sunday’s double header begins at Turf Moor where Burnley look to kick-start the day with an upset over Arsenal. The Clarets will be buzzing head into this tie off the back of their last two league encounters where they beat Leicester City 2-1 at home and won 2-0 at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
The Gunners are also coming off an impressive result of their own, coming back twice to draw 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, despite having David Luiz sent off in the early stages of the first half. Luiz, along with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, will return to the team after serving their suspension.
Arsenal have shown a never-say-die attitude under Mikel Arteta and are tipped on the Win/Draw Double Chance & Both Teams to Score at 12/10.
Tottenham 47/10
Draw 36/10
Manchester City 5/10
