POOL PARTY was running on at the finish in her last outing over the minimum distance and is likely to enjoy going back over six furlongs. She jumps from a mid-field draw and with Gavin Lerena doing duty, she should be right up there when they close in on the finishing post.

APPROACH CONTROL has the blinkers re-fitted for today's run. He was only overhauled very late in his latest outing over a mile and should enjoy going back over the 1450M as he won his only run over the trip. It is always encouraging when Warren Kennedy keeps faith in the ride.

BEFORE NOON moved up and just failed to overhaul the winner in his last start over twelve furlongs. He has a wide draw to overcome, but Gavin Lerena retains the ride so he will get all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
