MAKE U FAMOUS is the selection in this the first race of the day at Kranji Racecourse. The 5yr old gelding is in good form, having finished second in his last start on this course. Apprentice Kok rides him again today and he should be right there in the run down to the line.
HEART OF COURAGE improved nicely in his last start to finish second, a repeat of that run should see him competitive again.
LIM’S FORCE bumped on jumping in her last start but did well to finish where she did. If she has no interferences today, she should be in the money.
ELITE SAINT had issues in his post maiden run last time but a repeat of penultimate when winning would see him in the quartets.
RACE 2 (13:20) CLASS 4 (1) TURF TRACK 'A' (SC) 1200M
Selections – 1-2-5-4-3
WATCH OUT BOSS has done exceptionally well to win his last two starts. In his last start he came from the clouds when racing wide to get up on the line. Ronald Woodworth retains the ride today and he should be the one they all have to beat.
INHERIT is in a good run of form and he should be the biggest danger to the top selection as he steps down to the trip he won on in his debut.
NO REGRETS has good form over this trip. He did well to finish third in his last start and should be in the money again today.
KIWI KID is unraced son of British Medium and the betting market should be watched quite closely with regards to his chances.
RACE 3 (13:50) KRANJI STAKES POLYTRACK 1600M
Selections- 2-4-1-8-9
KARISTO led the whole way just to finish second in his last start over the same course and distance. Apprentice Kok rides today and if he brings his current form to the course, he should be the one that they all have to beat.
CARRIBEAN LADY has good form over this trip and will definitely be very competitive here.
GOLAZO won his last two starts very impressively, going from start to finish over this course. He drops in trip today but should still finish in the money.
LORD OF CLOUD just got up to win last time but should still be able to finish in the quartets.
RACE 4 (14:20) CLASS 5 (2) POLYTRACK 1100M
Selections – 1-2-6-7-9
LUCK MAK MAK comes into this race with consistent formlines into this race. Apprentice Hakim rides him today and if he manages to repeat the horses last run when finishing third, he will be very hard to beat in this race.
SPUR ME ON was impressive in his last start over the six furlongs when staying on into fourth. He steps down to the 1100m today and he should enjoy it.
LUCKY RED did well over the mile trip last time to finish in fourth. If he confirms that recent improvement he should be in the money again today.
MY MIRACLE is never far off them and should be in the money.
RACE 5 (14:50) CLASS 3 TURF TRACK 'A' (SC) 1400M
Selections- 8-5-9-6-2
HARDCORE won his last two starts coming from a long way back. His last run which was over this trip was even more impressive as he had to be steadied after the start and was held up for a clear run in the straight. JP van der Merwe rides today and he should be able to get this one home ahead of the rest.
AUGUSTUS improved nicely to run a good third over this trip. A repeat of that run should see him in the higher places.
MR HOOPER ran a good penultimate on this course, a repeat of that run should see him in the mix.
DINGHU MOUNTAIN was impressive when running second in his last start and a repeat of that run won’t see him far off.
RACE 6 (15:20) CLASS 2 POLYTRACK 1000M
Selections- 8-5-4-6-2
RED ROVER has done well in his last two starts when winning quite easily. He steps up in class today but he does look to have the class to pull this off. Jockey Azhar Ismail who has won on him twice retains the ride.
LIM’S DREAM ran a good race in Grade 2 company last time and it would be no surprise to see him win in the mix when they reach the latter stages.
GINGERELLA comes with impressive form into this race. She was bumped on jumping last time and would have finished closer. She should be thereabouts today.
MURAAHIB has never missed a place in his five starts and he should be there again.
RACE 7 (15:50) CLASS 4 (2) TURF TRACK 'A' (SC) 1200M
Selections- 4-7-8-1-2
SIAM WARRIOR is the ride of leading championship jockey Vladimir Duric, he finished a good third last time and he looks the one they have to beat from draw one.
PERFECT won impressively last time over this trip. He is having his post maiden run today but should still be good enough to finish in the places.
COPACABANA has inconsistent form to his name but with JP van der Merwe aboard he should be competitive and finish in the places.
BRIGHT ALMIGHTY won his last start nicely and a repeat of that run should see him in the money.
RACE 8 (16:20) CLASS 4 TURF TRACK 'A' (SC) 1600M
Selections- 3-6-2-9-4
SPIRIT OF BIG BANG is another ride for Vladmir Duric and with the horse’s current form. He should be very hard to beat. He has two wins and a second-place finish from his last three runs over this course and distance.
YAYA PAPAYA comes into the race with consistent form and should be able to challenge the top selection in the run down to the line.
IMPLEMENT did well to break his maiden last time. He faces tougher but should be able to finish in the money.
SUN FORMATION has a low weight, which should make it a lot easier to regain his form of old and run into the quartets.
