Most punters would have started to believe the hype around a possible new Italian champion side this season but Juventus have slowly started to tighten their grip on the all-important Scudetto. It goes to show the difference in quality and consistency between the Old Lady and the rest. It looks like we’re in for another exciting round of football, so let’s get to it.

Friday 24 January
Brescia 33/10
Draw 11/4
AC Milan 8/10
Relegation-threatened Brescia are without a win in their last five matches, including three defeats. AC Milan have been impressive of late with two wins on the bounce and have won three of their last four games on the road.
Brescia have the worst home record in the league with just one win from 10 matches.
AC Milan are tipped to come away with maximum points.
Saturday 25 January
SPAL 21/10
Draw 24/10
Bologna 5/4
SPAL ended a three-match losing streak with an impressive 2-1 victory away to Atalanta on Monday evening. Bologna are without a win in their last three games and have travelled poorly with just three wins from 10 matches.
Home advantage should be a key factor here and with SPAL fighting relegation, they will be more desperate and hungrier for the win.
A narrow home win is on the cards.
Fiorentina 15/20
Draw 11/4
Genoa 36/10
Fiorentina have been in excellent form of late with two wins on the spin, including a 2-0 victory at Napoli last time out. Basement-dwellers Genoa have lost four of their last five matches and remain winless on the road.
The Viola have struggled on home soil this season but their current form makes for good reading.
Back Fiorentina to bag all three points.
Torino 7/2
Draw 3/1
Atalanta 7/10
Torino’s two-match winning streak came to an abrupt end last weekend with a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Sassuolo. Atalanta were none the better after suffering a 2-1 home defeat against relegation-bound SPAL.
Both sides will surely be looking to return to winning ways, so goals should be on the menu.
Get on the Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 6/10.
Sunday 26 January
Inter Milan 7/20
Draw 17/4
Cagliari 15/2
Inter Milan have suffered just one defeat at home this season and will be looking to close the gap between themselves and Juventus. Cagliari may have started the season like a house on fire but that form has died down with a winless run of seven matches, including five defeats.
The Nerazzurri have won the last three meetings at home against the Islanders, scoring 10 goals and conceding just once.
Take Inter Milan on the (-1) Handicap at 17/20.
Hellas Verona 13/20
Draw 3/1
Lecce 39/10
Mid-table Hellas Verona are unbeaten in their last four matches, including two wins and two draws. Lecce are just one point off the drop zone and remain winless in their last seven games in all competitions.
However, they earned a hard-fought 1-1 home draw against Inter Milan and will be looking to build on that.
Both Teams to Score – Yes – is tipped at 15/20.
Sampdoria 12/10
Draw 47/20
Sassuolo 22/10
Sampdoria were humbled 5-1 at Lazio last weekend but prior to that, they had smashed Brescia by the same scoreline at home. Sassuolo ended a three-match losing streak with a hard-earned 2-1 home win over Torino last time out.
Is it just me or does almost every fixture look a game that will showcase goals galore?
The Over 2.5 Goals market looks likely at 8/10.
Parma 13/10
Draw 22/10
Udinese 22/10
Parma have been inconsistent in recent weeks but are off the back of a hard-fought 2-1 defeat at Juventus. Udinese, on the other hand, would’ve been disheartened following their 3-2 loss to AC Milan, ending a three-game winning run.
Five of the last six meetings between these sides have seen both teams find the back of the net.
Get on the Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 8/10.
Roma 17/10
Draw 26/10
Lazio 14/10
The penultimate match of the weekend will see one of the biggest rivalries known to Italian football. Crosstown rivals Lazio and Roma are placed third and fourth on the standings respectfully and this should make for a cagey and hostile affair.
Lazio have been absolutely brilliant with 11 straight victories but even that hasn’t been enough to take them to the summit.
As we know, form goes out the window in matches such as these and with that being said, I’m climbing into the Under 2.5 Goals market at 14/10.
Napoli 49/20
Draw 26/10
Juventus 21/20
Last but not least, Napoli will be desperate to get their season back on track but nothing seems to be helping their cause. Juventus come to town in top form with five wins on the spin and that doesn’t look likely to end here.
Juve have won the last three meetings against the Azzurri and offer excellent value to make it four on the trot.
The Old Lady are tipped at even money to get the job done.
TREBLE TIPPED @ 10/1
SPAL Win 21/10
Fiorentina Win 15/20
Juventus Win 21/20
