Friday 30 October
Schalke 22/10
Draw 49/20
Stuttgart 12/10
Schalke have endured the worst possible start to the season after tallying just one point from five matches. The Royal Blues were convincingly beaten 3-0 by Borussia Dortmund in the Revierderby last Saturday, but now the hosts will need to bounce back after already suffering heavy defeats to the best the Bundesliga has to offer in clubs like Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig. Newly-promoted Stuttgart will come into the clash full of confidence after going unbeaten in four games, including back-to-back away wins. The visitors are well worth a punt at 12/10.
Saturday 31 October
Arminia Bielefeld 57/10
Draw 38/10
Borussia Dortmund 4/10
Newly-promoted Arminia Bielefeld are finding it difficult to cope in the top division, their third straight defeat came at the hands of Wolfsburg. Borussia Dortmund shook off their UEFA Champions League defeat with a 3-0 win over Schalke. Jadon Sancho completely tore apart their rival’s defence to set up Erling Haaland who exquisitely chipped the goalkeeper while centre-backs Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji also registered on the scoresheet. The Yellow and Blacks four victories have all included clean sheets, therefore, take Away Win to Nil (Yes) at 29/20 if you’re looking for more value.
Cologne 12/1
Draw 7/1
Bayern Munich 1/6
Cologne’s back-to-back draws against Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart have put the first points on the board after three straight defeats, but I give the Billy Goats little to no chance in this encounter. Bayern Munich don’t play any matches at the Allianz Arena until the end of November. The Bavarians are a banker at a very short price, so instead go to the Multiscores market and select 1:2, 1:3 or 1:4 at 28/10.
Eintracht Frankfurt 15/20
Draw 3/1
Werder Bremen 31/10
Eintracht Frankfurt will return to the Deutsche Bank Park after suffering the mandatory 5-0 defeat at the home of the champions last time out. The Eagles won the previous two meetings 2-0 and 3-0 so Werder Bremen will have their work cut out. Florian Kohfeldt’s team have looked fairly decent to this point, with back-to-to draws against Freiburg and Hoffenheim that followed wins over Schalke and Arminia Bielefeld. The home win is the way to go at 15/20.
Augsburg 9/10
Draw 26/10
Mainz 26/10 (16:30)
Augsburg will be looking to claim their fifth consecutive victory over Mainz who are floundering with five straight losses that opened their 2020/21 campaign off in a nightmarish fashion. The visiting Carnival Club were on the cusp of earning their first points last weekend but two late goals from the UEFA Champions League participants Borussia Monchengladbach added to their woes. Coach Jan-Moritz Lichte needs to have the same belief he did prior to last week’s game but I can’t see the hosts bottling this one. Add the home win to all your weekend multiples at 9/10.
Borussia Monchengladbach 2/1
Draw 51/20 |
RB Leipzig 12/10
Borussia Monchengladbach’s squad depth will be put to the test as the Foals host Real Madrid and RB Leipzig within the space of three days. On the betting front, the previous eight matches played by the hosts across all competitions have seen over 2.5 goals scored which is a solid bet at 11/20. However, Julian Nagelsmann’s men will also return wary after their trip to Old Trafford for their midweek encounter. These sides are tipped to cancel each other out, a repeat of the previous 2-2 draw, can be backed in the Matchbet and Both Team to Score market – Draw (Yes) at 28/10, if you’re brave enough.
Sunday 1 November
Hertha Berlin 33/20
Draw 24/10
Wolfsburg 31/20
Hertha Berlin come into the first Sunday match wounded after suffering four straight defeats, conceding 11 times in the process. Bruno Labbadia’s men need to get back to the basics and play the football they displayed against Bayern Munich which saw them score three times against the champions. Matteo Guendouzi was the signing that was supposed to change the Old Lady’s fortunes but the French midfielder is in the process of recovering from Covid-19. Wolfsburg remain one of three unbeaten teams in Bundesliga. The Wolves claimed their first victory after opening their campaign with four draws on the bounce. The safe way to go is Wolfsburg on the Double Chance at 9/20.
Freiburg 26/10
Draw 26/10
Bayer Leverkusen 19/20
Freiburg are winless in four league games, losing 4-0 to Borussia Dortmund and desperately holding on for three draws against the likes of Wolfsburg, Werder Bremen and Union Berlin. The Breisgau Brazilians, as the hosts are affectionally known, simply need to score more goals to increase their chances of claiming maximum points. Bayer Leverkusen have struggled to find the net in their last six league games away from the BayArena. It’s unpopular for German football, but the last five meetings between these sides have seen Under 2.5 Goals scored. Go against the betting and back Under 2.5 Goals at even money.
Monday 2 November
Hoffenheim 17/20
Draw 28/10
Union Berlin 29/10 (21:30)
Hoffenheim have gone through a dip in form and are now winless in three matches after claiming a shock 4-1 victory over champions Bayern Munich. Sebastian Hoeneb’s men will be aiming to get back to winning ways by winning their third straight game against the visitors. Union Berlin fought hard to earn their third draw in four Bundesliga clashes, which sees the Iron Ones come into this game with the same belief of picking up at least one point as they did in their two previous matches on their travels. Select Union Berlin on the Double Chance at 9/10.
TREBLE @ 6/1
Augsburg Win 9/10
Freiburg vs Bayer Leverkusen Under 2.5 Goals 1/1
Union Berlin Win/Draw 9/10
