While this does take away some quality from proceeding, it does make for interesting viewing as a couple of upsets may well be on the cards.
Dragons v Munster
Sunday 1 November
Rodney Parade
16:00
To Win (80 Mins)
Dragons 11/2
Draw 28/1
Munster 1/10
Sunday's next installment will see the Dragons take on all-conquering Munster at Rodney Parade. The visitors head into this one as hot favourites with the bookmakers, and rightly so considering they've considering they hed into this one off the back of a solid 38-27 victory over the Dragons fellow Welsh side, the Cardiff Blues.
While Munster have been racking up wins for fun, the Dragons have struggled to win only one of their three games with that victory coming over Italian minnos Zebre. Things get more ominous for the hosts when you look at the recent head to head record between the sides with Munster winning the last match between the duo 39-9.
Verdict: Munster 1/10
I can see Munster running up a cricket score here which is why I'll take them to clear any handicap under 15 points.
Connacht v Treviso
Sunday 1 November
The Sportsground
18:30
To Win (80 Mins)
Connacht 1/5
Draw 24/1
Treviso 7/2
We kick things off at the Sportsground where Irish Province Connacht will welcome Italian side Treviso.
The hosts have enjoyed a decent enough start to the season winning beating Glasgow 28-24 and Edinburgh 26-37 while going down 29-7 to the Cardiff Blues.
Treviso have endured a far tougher time of it losing all three of their games. Their defeats came at the hands of Ulster (35-24), Leinster (25-37) and the Scarlets (3-10).
Connacht have won four of the last five meetings between the sides by 15 points or more with their ost recent victory being a 41-5 win.
Verdict: Connacht 1/5
Connacht should win this one at a canter. If you are offered a handicap of 12 points or less then I suggest you jump on the minus.
Scarlets v Edinburgh
Sunday 1 November
Parc Y Scarlets
20:45
To Win (80 Mins)
Scarlets 11/20
Draw 19/1
Edinburgh 31/20
We head over to Wales for our next fixture which will see the Scarlets take on Scottish side Edinburgh. Both teams have endured a tough of start to the season with the visitors yet to win a game and the Scarlets on winning one of their three, with the victory coming against Italian minnows Zebre whom they beat 3-10 last weekend.
Edinburgh have won the last five games between the sides with their last meeting ending 9-14. The other games have been rather comfortable wins for Edinburgh with the lowest winning margin being by eight points.
Verdict Scarltes 11/20
While they don't have a great record against Edinburgh, I fully expect the Scarlets to get the job done here.
Cardiff Blues v Ulster
Monday 2 November
Rodney Parade
20:00
To Win (80 Mins)
Cardiff 14/10
Draw 20/1
Ulster 6/10
The Cardiff Blues will have a trick old assignment in Monday's opener as they take on an inform Ulster outfit.
The visitors head into this one undefeated having beaten Treviso 35-24, the Ospreys 12-14 and most recently the Dragons 40-17. Cardiff have done alright themselves beating Zebre 6-16 and Connacht 29-7. They do head into this one off the back of a defeat, however, as they went down 38-27 to Munster.
Ulster have won three of the last five games between the sides with the other two ending in one draw and one Cardiff win. The last meeting saw Ulster run out 23-14 victors.
Verdict: Ulster 6/10
I reckon this one will be a tight old affair but one in which Ulster come out on top in.
Zebre v Ospreys
Monday 2 November
Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi
21:35
To Win (80 Mins)
Zebre 29/10
Draw 22/1
Ospreys 1/4
We make a jaunt across to mainland Europe for our next installment which will see struggling Zebre take on the Ospreys at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.
Zebre have lost their three opening games going down 6-16 to Cardiff in Round 1, 26-18 to the Dragons in Round 2 and 63-8 to Leinster last weekend. They really have struggled against Welsh sides and with Cardiff having won two of their opening three games - they've beaten the Warriors and the Opsreys - I reckon the Italian side are going to be in for a tough old Monday evening.
Verdict: Ospreys 1/4
It may not be grat value at 1/4 but the Cardiff win is an absolute banker.
