The F1 season is fast approaching it's close with this week's race in Bahrain being the third to last event of the season. While the Drivers' and Constructors' title are wrapped up, we're still in for an interesting couple weeks as teams and drivers lower down the field battle it out for ladder positions.

To Win Race Outright
Lewis Hamilton 7/20

Max Verstappen 6/1
Daniel Ricciardo 66/1
Charle LeClerc 66/1
Sergio Perez 66/1

Previous Race
Turkey through up some rather interesting results, although not right at the top of the field as Lewis Hamilton, who started the race sixth on the grid, claimed yet another race victory. The 'Brit was followed across the line by Sergio Perez who took full advantage of a late mistake from Charles LeClerc to claim second place. The podium was rounded out by Sebastian Vettel who was followed across the line by his teammate Charles LeClerc.
Positions six and seven were taken by the Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon who both spun out during the race. Sandwiched between the duo and the Ferraris in fifth place was Carlos Sainz and his McLaren.
The remainder of the top ten saw featured Landon Norris (eighth), Lance Stroll (ninth) and Daniel Ricciardo (tenth).
Track
The Bahrain International Circuit - otherwise known as the Sakhir Circuit - was designed by F1’s favourite circuit architect, Hermann Tilke. The tiny Kingdom spared no expense when it came to constructing the complex with in excess of $150 million going into the original construction contracts.
While the actual complex is home to six different circuits, the one we’ll focus our attention on is the 5.412 kilometres long Grand Prix circuit. The track throws up fifteen different turns with three challenging hairpins set to really test the field.
Last year's race was won by dominated by Mercedes with Hamilton claiming first and Valterri Bottas taking second. The podium was rounded out by Charles LeClerc who also took the fastest lap accolade.
The weather looks rather good although there are a few passing showers being forecast to pass over during Saturday's qualifying sessions.
Value Bet
Podium - Finish - Sebastian Vettel - Yes @ 25/1
Vettel has been a dominant force out in Bahrain winning the 2012, 2013, 2017 and 2018 editions of the race. He was on for a podium finish at the venue last year as well but a spin on lap 38 caused him to drop down the field order and he eventually finished in fifth.
While he has had a tough old year, Vettel did find some form in Turkey finishing third. I reckon he's a decent shout for a podium finish this weekend at a tasty price of???
To Win Race Outright - Lewis Hamilton @ 7/20
I cannot help but back the 'Brit here. Yes, he's wrapped up the title but he'll still be determined to get another win under his belt.
The Mercedes main man hasn't got the healthiest record at this track - well, at least by his standards - but has still managed to claim three wins here taking race honours in 2014, 2015 and last year. I reckon he'll extend his record to five wins this weekend.
