The daughter of Noordhoek Flyer has finished runner-up in two of her three career attempts, the latest when beaten a neck by her stablemate on her seasonal debut, two weeks ago. She had a few of today's rivals behind her that day and has good scope for improvement. The slight worry is that she is drawn on the wrong side of the track but the bay filly has early toe and 'Striker' may decide to take her to the inside.

MISS ARGENTINA had a decent first month of this new season which culminated with a cracking last run over this distance at a similar level. The chestnut mare finished strongly and was pipped into 2nd at the wire. That formline has worked out well with the 5th (She's A Flirt) & 7th placed runner (Lakahal) winning subsequently. This inmate from the Tyrone Zackey yard was penalized two pounds for that effort but she will again enjoy a 4kgs apprentice allowance and she could still be the one to beat. She has a good draw and has track experience.

RAIN SHADOW is coming to hand as his merit rating drops steadily and he made steady progress for a much improved last run when beaten just over two lengths by
AZA ARROW (2.5kgs worse off) over today's distance at Turffontein, four weeks ago. He was docked another pound after that effort and is course suited. The Lateral colt is once again drawn well and he can stake a serious claim. The latter is in good form but most interestingly, he has just over two lengths to find on the top rating on the run behind Shepherds Warning, which incidentally, was his only track appearance. Furthermore, he is now 4kgs worse off with that rival and may struggle to hold the form of their subsequent meeting.

BANKING APRIL has produced some big performances at this level recently and she could be rewarded for consistency today. She has track experience, albeit she was disappointing on that solitary occasion and can make amends now. The daughter of Bankable is well drawn and Fortune has ridden her previously.
