Refer A Friend
DEFINITIONS
- A ‘Friend’ is defined as an individual person who does not have, and who has never had, a Hollywoodbets account.
- A ‘Successful Friend’ is defined as having met the following criteria:

- Friend has opened an account with Hollywoodbets via the link they received on the Refer a Friend SMS.
- Friend has submitted FICA documents, is FICA compliant and their FICA documents have been approved.
- Friend has deposited R20 or more into their account. They should have R50 in their account from their FICA reward but must load an additional R20 to make at least R70 total.
- Friend must make a bet(s) to the total value of R70 or more excluding bets made on the Live in Play or Betgames Africa facilities.
- The ‘Referrer’ is the Hollywoodbets account holder who is referring a Friend via the REFER A FRIEND functionality- only available on mobile/cellphone betting.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- In order to participate the Referrer must be over the age of 18 and have an active Hollywoodbets account.
- The REFER A FRIEND facility is available only on the mobile platform.
- Referrals will only be deemed valid if the Friend they have referred falls under the ‘Successful Friend’ definition.
- Each Referrer who refers a ‘Successful Friend’ will receive a free R20 betting Voucher into their Hollywoodbets account.
- The Friend being referred by a Referrer must not have, and never have had, a Hollywoodbets account.
- The R20 betting voucher reward will be credited to the Referrer’s betting account 24 hours after he/she has referred a ‘Successful Friend’ The Referrer will be required to use it as a betting voucher by placing bets to the full value of the R20 and will not be entitled to withdraw the R20 out of their account until the funds have first been bet and turned over in full.
- The ‘Successful Friend’ will receive a free R50 betting voucher into their Hollywoodbets account once Hollywoodbets has confirmed that their FICA documents have been successfully submitted and their account status becomes active. The ‘Successful Friend’ will be required to Deposit R20 into their new betting account then take a bet/s using their cellphone or online betting account of R45 (Including the R50 sign up voucher)
- The ‘Successful Friend’ will be required to use the R50 as a betting voucher and will not be entitled to withdraw the R50 out of their account until the funds have first been bet and turned over in full.
- The free R50 betting voucher is considered as part of the R70 deposit that is required of the Friend in order for the Referrer to receive their R20 betting voucher reward.
- This promotion is valid to all Hollywoodbets account holders.
- Only players who are 18 years or older are permitted to open a Hollywoodbets account.
- If any Friends have been referred by a Referrer and the referrer has not received the R20 bonus within 24 hours, the existing account holder must send an email to hwhelpline@hollywoodbets.net or call the Helpline 0860042387.
- Hollywoodbets has the right to cancel or withdraw this offer or change any of its terms at any time and without cause/notice. Right of participation reserved.
- Customers may only refer people that they know personally ("prohibition of spamming").
