Round seven of the EPL resumes on the 30th of September. Find out what's worth backing.
Gameweek 7 of the Premier League sees Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal with relatively easy matches that should see them maintain winning formula, while Manchester City face a tough trip to champions Chelsea in the biggest tie of the round.
The gameweek closes out with what looks a great matchup between Newcastle and Liverpool with former Reds boss Rafa Benitez going up against Jurgen Klopp, the new darling of the Kop.
Saturday 30 September
Huddersfield Town 7/1 | Draw 37/10 | Tottenham 4/10 (13:30)
Huddersfield kicked off the new Premier League campaign in style, recording back-to-back wins over Crystal Palace and Newcastle in their first two league fixtures, but they have not been as impressive ever since. The Terriers are on a four-game winless run in the Premier League ahead of Saturday’s match against Tottenham and they failed to score in three of their previous four league games.
Spurs did well to beat West Ham at the London Stadium in the local derby last weekend, with Harry Kane scoring a brace in a 3-2 victory for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Tottenham have been impressive on their travels and seeing that Huddersfield have been struggling in front of goal of late, I’m backing Spurs to come away with all three points.
Bournemouth 17/10 | Draw 47/20 | Leicester City 31/20 (16:00)
Despite producing a fine display against Everton at the weekend, Bournemouth failed to grab something from the match. The Cherries were more than unfortunate to suffer a loss to Ronald Koeman’s side at Goodison Park, but they have been improving their game, week by week and, no doubt, positive results will come soon.
Eddie Howe’s men are a real force to be reckoned with at the Vitality Stadium and they should make life difficult for Leicester City on Saturday.
The Foxes experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 loss to Liverpool and seeing that Craig Shakespeare’s men are not good travellers, I’m tipping the hosts to capitalize on home advantage.
Manchester United 1/6 | Draw 6/1 | Crystal Palace 17/1 (16:00)
Manchester United will be looking to extend their winning run in the Premier League to three games when they host rock-bottom Crystal Palace at Old Trafford. Romelu Lukaku scored his sixth league goal of the season to give United a hard-fought victory at Southampton last weekend and the Belgian attacker is likely to prove a handful for the opposition defenders.
Palace suffered a loss in each of their first six league fixtures and they were hammered 5-0 by Manchester City last weekend. New coach Roy Hodgson will have his work cut out for him at Selhurst Park and his men will have to make a big progress in days to come if they are to secure the top flight survival.
With little value on the home win, take United to win on the Half-time/Full-time double at 11/20.
Stoke City 19/10 | Draw 43/20 | Southampton 15/10 (16:00)
Stoke will be looking to put an end to their three-game losing run in all competitions, but beating Southampton is never easy. Mark Hughes’ men are eyeing only their second win of the season. Southampton failed to grab something from their last league fixture against Manchester United, losing 1-0 at St. Mary's Stadium.
Mauricio Pellegrino’s side have won just one of their last four matches, suffering two defeats. The Saints managed to keep a clean sheet in each of their first two away matches of the season and that is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism.
Taking everything into account, a close encounter appears on the cards and the sides are tipped to share the spoils.
West Brom 5/4 | Draw 21/10 | Watford 49/20 (16:00)
West Brom succumbed to a 2-0 loss away to Arsenal on Monday night that saw Tony Pulis’ men extend their winless streak in all competitions to five matches. In those games, they’ve suffered three defeats, including two in a row. The Baggies will welcome the return to the Hawthorns where they remain unbeaten with five points from three games.
Watford have been superb on their travels, winning all three of their matches, netting twice in each game.
They’ll fancy their chances of coming away with all three points against the Baggies, but to be safe, I’ll be taking them on the Win/Draw at 6/10.
West Ham 17/20 | Draw 5/2 | Swansea City 34/10 (16:00)
West Ham head into Saturday’s match against Swansea following a 3-2 loss to Tottenham at the London Stadium. The Hammers dropped to the relegation zone in the Premier League standings, but the game against Swansea City could be the turning point for the capital club. Slaven Bilic and his men face a must-win situation against Paul Clement’s side.
The Swans will be hoping to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Watford. The Hammers are solid at home and there is every chance Bilic’s men will return to winning ways this weekend. In their previous meeting at London Stadium, West Ham recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Swansea.
The home win is tipped at 17/20.
Chelsea 18/10 | Draw 49/20 | Manchester City 29/20 (18:30)
The Citizens are top of the table on goal difference, above rivals Manchester United, while the Blues are three points behind. Antonio Conte’s men completed the league double over Pep Guardiola’s side last season, winning 3-1 at the Etihad before claiming a 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge. It was the first time that the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss had lost two league games in the same season to a rival.
A lively contest appears on the horizon and there is every chance both teams will score in the Stamford Bridge showdown. Chelsea completed the league double over City last season and are incredibly tough to beat on their turf. City have been rampant, scoring goals at will, but they’ll face their toughest test so far against the champions.
With home advantage, I’m tipping Conte’s men on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 5/10.Click here for our full betting preview>>

Arsenal 1/4 | Draw 5/1 | Brighton 10/1 (13:00)
Alexandre Lacazette scored twice to give Arsenal a 2-0 victory over West Brom on Monday night, their third league win in a row at the Emirates Stadium. Arsene Wenger’s side will be delighted to be playing at home against a Brighton side that are yet to win away from home.
Chris Hughton's men have picked up just a point on their travels. That came in a goalless draw against Watford in between defeats against Leicester City and Bournemouth. The Gunners have a plethora of weapons in their attack with the likes of Lacazette, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil leading a lethal team that is superior to Brighton in all departments.
Back Arsenal on the (-1) Handicap at 6/10.
Everton 13/20 | Draw 26/10 | Burnley 9/2 (15:15)
Everton desperately needed a win against Bournemouth at the weekend and they managed to get one. The Toffees came from behind to beat the Cherries at Goodison Park and, no doubt, Ronald Koeman can breathe easier. It was only Everton’s second win of the season and Koeman will be hoping to build on that result and guide his side higher up the table.
Burnley, on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Huddersfield Town in their last league match, but they managed to retain their spot in the top 10. Sean Dyche’s men have been impressive on their travels, winning at Chelsea and earning draws against Tottenham and Liverpool.
I’m backing the Clarets to hold the Toffees to a draw.
Newcastle 36/10 | Draw 28/10 | Liverpool 7/10 (17:30)
Buoyed by a 3-2 win at Leicester City, Liverpool take on Newcastle United at St. James’ Park in Sunday’s final game. Philippe Coutinho is back and the Brazilian midfielder scored a wonder goal from a free-kick in the 3-2 triumph over Craig Shakespeare’s side.
The Reds are eyeing a place in the top four and they will go all out for a win against Newcastle. The Magpies’ three-game winning streak came to an end as they suffered a 1-0 loss to Brighton last weekend.
Rafa Benitez’s charges face an uphill task against Liverpool and I fancy the visitors to secure maximum points.
TREBLE TIPPED @ 6/1
Tottenham Win 4/10
Stoke v Southampton Draw 43/20
Liverpool Win 7/10
