Stade Francais will be looking to reignite their Challenge Cup title defence when they take on Russian outfit Krasny Yar on Friday the 8th of December.
There's an epic grudge match in store this week in the European Rugby Challenge Cup with Stade desperate to atone for their shock Round 1 loss to Kransy Yar when the two sides meet in the reverse fixture this Friday.
The last game between this two sides was an absolute blinder. Here's hoping we see a similar contest this time around.

To say that Stade have got their title defence off to a rather slow start would be the understatement of the decade. The reigning Challenge Cup Champions currently sit at the foot of Pool 4 with only two points to their names. They are eight points behind the pool-leaders, Edinburgh, and three points behind third-placed Kransy. The Parisians are really staring down the barrel here and will need to start racking up the bonus point wins if their title defence is to not falter at the first hurdle.
There is some good news for Stade fans, however, as their side come into this one off the back of a massive domestic victory against a red-hot Racing Metro outfit. Stade ran out 27-17 victors over Racing in the Pairs Derby last Sunday, and that Top 14 victory will have given the Parisians a massive confidence boost headed into this one.
Krasny Yar
Kransy will know they are in for it this Friday evening having embarrassed their much-vaunted counterparts in Russia. The Russian outfit really took the game to Stade during that 34-29 victory, and they likely to take a similar approach to this one. As such, expect the Kransy forwards to try and rile their counterparts up and any given opportunity.
While Kransy were mightily impressive in their opening fixture, they were unable to produce the goods in the second round as they were hammered 14-73 by Edinburgh. The worrying thing for Kransy fans is that this heavy defeat came on their home patch; Could you imagine how bad things may get when they hit the road?
Verdict: Stade (-36.5) 17/20
The Parisians fielded a second-strength side the last time these two sides met and it cost them dearly. They won't make the same mistake this time around, and I can see a full-strength Stade putting a massive score over Krasny!
