Chippa United have confirmed the appointment of Eric Tinkler as the club's new coach to replace sacked Dan Malesela.
Tinkler has been jobless since parting ways with Supersport United in the second round of the 2017/18 season.
The Chilli Boys have in the process become the first club in the 2018/19 Premiership season to sack their coach.
The former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns defender leaves after two defeats and a draw in the opening three games of the new campaign.
"Chippa United hereby confirm that it has parted ways with head coach Dan Malesela," the club said in a statement.
"The club would like to thank coach Dan for his contribution to the club over the past and current season and wish him the best with his future endeavours.
"The club furthermore wishes to confirm the appointment of Eric Tinkler."
