Under siege giants, Toulon will be looking to kick-start their flailing Top 14 season when they play host to reigning champions Castres on Sunday the 9th of September.
Toulon will be looking for their first win of the campaign when they take on unbeaten Castres this Sunday. The hosts have been in abysmal form and have failed to launch on attack. Castres, on the other hand, have started the 2018/19 season where they left off in 2017/18 by claiming two wins on the trot.

This is probably the worst Toulon side I have seen for many a year. The mega-rich club opened their campaign with a 9-25 home defeat to Racing Metro and followed that up with a 20-10 away loss to Pau.
While the defeats themselves are rather worrying, the thing that will be giving Toulon fans nightmares is there side's inability to score tries. One try from 160-minutes of rugby is simply not good enough for a club that should be challenging for the Top 14.
If Toulon are to get their attack functioning they are going to need new outside backs Filipo Nakosi and Julian Savea to start delivering the goods.
Castres
A few bookies must be worrying about having priced Castres up at such a generous price to retain their title as they have started the season off in spectacular fashion beating Montpellier 20-25 away from home and then beating Lyon 19-16 at home.
Key to Castres solid start to the season has been the ability of their forward pack to boss proceedings at set-piece time. Their scrum has been a thing to behold, while they have been great on their own throw and caused opposition sides heaps of trouble when contesting.
Verdict: Castres 28/10
Castres are an extremely gritty side, which is the exact opposition Toulon hate to play against. I can see the reigning champions get another memorable away win here.
