Ferrari will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Americas when the F1 field takes to the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez on Sunday the 28th of October.
We may well see the fate of the 2018 Drivers' Championship sealed out in Mexico this weekend with Lewis Hamilton only needing a top seven finish to secure yet another World Championship. The 'Brit could have actually sealed the deal in the United States last week but fantastic drives from Kimi Raikkonen and Max Verstappen ensured that the Mercedes main man would have to wait at least another week.

Previous Race
Lewis Hamilton may have failed to deliver on my Fastest Qualifier and Race Winner tips last week but Kimi Raikkonen made it a decent United States Grand Prix with the veteran 'Finn not only landing himself on the podium but also securing a race win.
While Raikkonen's victory has seen Ferrari remain in the hunt for the Constructor's Championship title, the Prancing Stag are extremely unlikely to see main man Sebastian Vettel claim the Drivers' Championship title as the German ace slipped back two further points behind Drivers' Championship leader Lewis Hamilton, who finished one place ahead of Vettel in third.
Hamilton's teammate, Valtteri Bottas, may not have made the top 3 but he did secure some vital Constructors' Championship points by bringing his car across the line in fifth.
The Circuit of the Americas proved a happy hunting ground for Red Bull man Max Verstappen who managed to claim second place. His teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, had a less successful jaunt in Texas as he was forced to retire.
Renault enjoyed a very solid outing last weekend as Nico Hulkenberg claimed sixth position and Carlos Sainz took seventh.
The remainder of the top 10 featured Sergio Perez (eighth), Sergio Perez (eighth), Brendon Hartley (ninth) and Marcus Ericsson (tenth).
Track
Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez – named after racing drivers and brothers Ricardo and Pedro Rodriguez – is packed with low-speed corners which will drastically test the field's brake-by-wire systems. The track does have one of the longest straights on the calendar, however, so the drivers won’t just be plodding around corners for the entirety of the race.
The 4.304-kilometre long track is situated in a public park, named the Magdalena Sports City, in the South East of the Mexican capital. The circuit contains seventeen turns, with the most notorious of these being the high-speed corner which goes by the name of the “Peraltada”. This corner leads onto the start-finish line, and while it is a real challenge, it’s also a corner the drivers thoroughly enjoy.
The start-finish straight is 1.2 kilometres long and because of the high-speed exit from the Peraltada corner, drivers get a slingshot into it. This combined with the high altitude means that we will see some blistering sector times being set here.
In terms of the weather forecast for this weekend, the local bureau scattered showers throughout the entire race weekend. It is early in the week, however, so make sure you keep an eye out for changes in the forecast.
Value Bet
Fastest Lap - Winning Car - Red Bull 7/2
This is a bit of a long shot but Red Bull tend to do well out in Mexico, as was the case last year where Max Verstappen won the race. Daniel Ricciardo has also enjoyed a decent outing or two at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez finishing third in 2016.
At 7/2, you don't need to lump on a massive amount of money to make a decent return.
Fastest Qualifier - Lewis Hamilton @ 16/10
Mexico hasn't been the most successful track for the 'Brit in terms of race wins but Mercedes have dominated qualifying here, claiming pole at two of the three races held at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
There's not a whole lot of value here but I can see Hamilton taking pole this Saturday.
