Our football tipster previews the final round of German Bundesliga action for the 2018/19 season, which kicks off on Saturday 18 May 2019.
Final round! Fight! Bayern Munich have given Borussia Dortmund a glimmer of hope after being held to a goalless draw at Leipzig last time out. However, BVB must collect maximum points and hope that somehow Eintracht Frankfurt upset the German giants.
At the opposite end of the standings, Nuremburg, Hannover and Stuttgart are confirmed to face the axe. Well except for the latter who will go through the relegation/promotion play-offs. So, for the last time this season, let’s get to it!

Eintracht Frankfurt 19/2
Bayern Munich need a win to ensure they reclaim the title but, in all honesty, a draw will pretty much get the job done with the Bavarians 17 goals better than Borussia Dortmund. Eintracht Frankfurt are still in with a chance of making top four depending on results.
They will do their best to prevent Bayern from lifting the trophy against them but I doubt their best will be good enough. The Eagles are winless in their last five league games, including back-to-back defeats.
Take Bayern Munich on the (-1) Handicap at 6/10.
Schalke 6/10
Draw 32/10
Stuttgart 39/10
Schalke are unbeaten in their last three games and will look to maintain that form with their final home game on the horizon. Stuttgart have won two home games on the bounce but have lost 13 of their 16 travels, including four defeats in a row.
The Royal Blues are undefeated in their last seven matches with six wins and are tipped to build on that.
Back the hosts to claim maximum points.
Monchengladbach 37/20

Dortmund 12/10
City-rivals Monchengladbach and Dortmund will square off in what promises to be a cracking contest! The hosts need nothing less than a win to strengthen their chances and hopes of playing Champions League football next term.
BVB are in a similar predicament, needing maximum points to give them a fighting chance of lifting the title.

Hertha Berlin 47/10

Bayer Leverkusen 9/20
Hertha Berlin are unbeaten in their last four matches, including back-to-back wins. The Old Lady might not be playing for much but their fans are rallying behind them and they seem to be responding.
Bayer Leverkusen are aiming for maximum points with top four on the line. The reverse tie ended 3-1 and another goal fest looks likely to be the case.
Get on the Both Halves Over 1.5 goals – Yes – at 17/10.
Werder Bremen 31/20

Leipzig 29/20
Werder Bremen are coming off an impressive 1-0 win away to Hoffenheim and will be looking to build on that with the UEFA Europa League play-offs in their sight. Leipzig are guaranteed to finish third on the table but should still give us an exciting show.
Maybe it’s just me, but it looks as though most of these matches look as though they will be raining goals.
The 1st Half Totals – Over 1.5 Goals – is tipped at even money.
Freiburg 15/20

Nuremburg 31/10
Freiburg are without a win in their last eight games with five defeats, including a 3-0 hammering at Hannover last time out. However, Nuremburg have managed just three wins from 33 matches all season, scoring 25 goals and conceding 63 times!
As bad as both teams have been, home advantage could be the difference on Saturday afternoon.
Take Freiburg to come out on top.
Mainz 31/10

Hoffenheim 13/20
Mainz are off the back of an impressive 2-0 win away to Eintracht Frankfurt and will look to end the season off with a win in front of their fans.
Hoffenheim are in touching distance of the Europa League places but their current form leaves a lot to be desired. They are without a win in their last three matches, including two defeats.
Mainz are tipped on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 23/20.
Wolfsburg 4/10

Augsburg 52/10
Following back-to-back wins, Wolfsburg suffered a 3-0 thumping at Stuttgart to derail their chances of UEFA Champions League football. Augsburg are winless in their last three matches and have travelled dismally.
Over the years, this has generally been a low-scoring contest and while I feel it can go either which way on the final day of the season, I’m a man of trends and more importantly, value.
The Totals – Under 2.5 Goals – market is tipped at 2/1!
Dusseldorf 6/10

Hannover 38/10
Dusseldorf put up a good fight last weekend despite inevitably going down 3-2 at title-chasing Dortmund. Hannover pulled off a 3-0 win over Freiburg but unfortunately, Stuttgart won with the same scoreline against Wolfsburg and will now compete in the promotion/relegation play-off.
The hosts will be looking to end the season off on a positive note in front of the loving supporters.
