The South Africans are the only undefeated side in the tournament having registered wins over Scotland, Georgia and New Zealand during the pool phase.
While they looked good against the 'Scots and the Georgians, their best performance came last week where they beat their junior All Black counterparts 25-17.
The New Zealanders were absolutely bullied by the South African forwards, who were a menace in the contact and carried like absolute Trojans. If the Baby Boks can show the same sort of intensity against the French, then I can see them waltzing their way into the final.
France
Red cards have become a dominant theme at the tournament and the French suffered their first against Argentina last Wednesday as flanker Sacha Zegueur was given his marching orders midway through the first-half for a high tackle.
And while the playing field was levelled in the second half when Argentine fly-half Joaquín de la Vega Mendía was sent off, France were unable to overturn the big lead the Argentines had put on the board and eventually went down 26-47.
The French will need to improve their discipline this week as they also received a number of yellow cards against the Argentines. If they go down to 14 or 13 men against the Baby Boks then they will be punished on the scoreboard.
