Gameweek 13 of the 2019/20 German Bundesliga kicks off on Friday 29 November 2019. Check out our full betting preview below.
Round 12 of the German Bundesliga had its upsets with table-toppers Monchengladbach dropping points after going down at newly-promoted Union Berlin. Dortmund failed to capitalize on this and were held to a 3-3 draw against Paderborn. Leipzig, Bayern Munich, Freiburg and Schalke all have the potential to leapfrog the log-leaders. Find out more about that below.
Friday 29 November
Schalke 13/20
Draw 28/10
Union Berlin 4/1
Schalke are unbeaten in their last four games, including a 2-1 victory at Werder Bremen last time out. Union Berlin upset the applecart last weekend after ousting Monchengladbach 2-0, making it three wins on the spin.
As much as I feel the Royal Blues will dominate this contest, the newcomers are flying high and will be looking to keep things tight.
The Totals – Under 2.5 Goals – market is tipped at 19/20.
Saturday 30 November
Hoffenheim 7/10
Draw 3/1
Dusseldorf 37/10
Hoffenheim were absolutely appalling last time out after being humiliated 3-0 on home soil against Mainz who had lost back-to-back matches prior. Relegation-threatened Dusseldorf were thrashed 4-0 at home by a rampant Bayern Munich team.
I think both sides will be desperate to get back to winning ways which suggests an attacking game of football.
Both Teams to Score – Yes – looks a good bet at 6/10.
Paderborn 6/1
Draw 17/4
Leipzig 7/20
Basement-dwellers Paderborn have been dismal with just one win from 12 matches, including five defeats from six home games. Leipzig have been brilliant in recent weeks with three wins on the trot, scoring 16 goals and conceding just three times.
The Red Bulls are firing on all cylinders and are expected to continue their winning form with the chance to claim top spot on offer.
Back Leipzig to Score in Both Halves at 8/10.
Hertha Berlin 32/10
Draw 29/10
Borussia Dortmund 15/20
Hertha Berlin have been on a downward spiral with four consecutive losses, scoring three times and conceding 12 goals. Dortmund lost more ground on the table-toppers last time out after Paderborn held them to a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Desperation will kick in as the Black and Yellow Army cannot afford to lose further ground. The Old Lady have proven tough to beat on home soil.
However, Dortmund are tipped to do enough to come away with all three points.
Cologne 9/10
Draw 26/10
Augsburg 11/4
Cologne have been in terrible form with nine losses from 12 games, including four defeats on the spin. Augsburg have been impressive of late with two wins on the bounce, scoring five goals without shipping any.
The last three meetings at RheinEnergieStadion have produced just three goals.
With that being said, get on the Under 2.5 Goals market at 6/10.
Bayern Munich 3/10
Draw 5/1
Bayer Leverkusen 15/2
Bayern Munich have been excellent with three wins from their last four games, including back-to-back victories. Bayer Leverkusen have been inconsistent to say the least as they occupy ninth place on the standings.
The Bavarians have won their last two meetings 4-0 and will be looking to build on that.
The hosts are tipped on the (-1) Handicap at 13/20.
Sunday 1 December
Monchengladbach 6/10
Draw 32/10
Freiburg 4/1
Monchengladbach dropped the ball last time out after going down 2-0 at newly-promoted Union Berlin. Freiburg are unbeaten in their last four matches and have suffered just one defeat from six travels this season.
Both sides are surprisingly gunning for the title but Monchengladbach have been showing signs of inconsistency.
With that being said, I’m backing Freiburg on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 12/10.
Wolfsburg 12/10
Draw 51/20
Werder Bremen 21/10
Wolfsburg ended a winless run of eight matches in all competitions with an impressive 2-0 victory away to Eintracht Frankfurt. Werder Bremen are without a win in their last eight league games, including back-to-back defeats.
This one is likely to go down to the wire.
However, with home advantage, Wolfsburg are tipped to claim maximum points.
Monday 2 December
Mainz 18/10
Draw 26/10
Eintracht Frankfurt 27/20
Mainz head into Monday’s clash with their head held high after humiliating Hoffenheim 5-1 at their own home ground. Eintracht Frankfurt have lost back-to-back games since thrashing Bayern Munich 5-1 and will be hungry to get back to winning ways.
Another goal-fest is on the cards with both teams looking to come out on top.
Get on the Over 2.5 Goals market at 5/10.
TREBLE TIPPED @ 7/1
Bayern Munich (-1) Handicap 13/20
Freiburg Win/Draw 12/10
Wolfsburg Win 12/10
