RACE 1 (07:45) CLASS 5 POLYTRACK 1000M
SELECTIONS – 11-7-9-2-3
ALARANCH is in a consistent run of form and looks more than capable of notching up his fifth career victory in this the first race of the day. He was crowded on jumping in his last start and that may have cost him.
KO OLINA has finished close up in his last four starts and had excuses in all four of those starts, if he has a trouble-free run today he should be able to trouble the top selection.
PAPERBACK TROOPER was not far off in his last start and he had to be shifted on that day, barring any interference he should be in the money.
MY HORSE is always in with a shout and must be considered for quartets.
RACE 2 (08:15) RESTRICTED MAIDEN TURF TRACK 'D' (SC) 1400M
SELECTIONS – 2-3-1-5-4
EUNOS AVE THREE steps up to the seven furlongs for the first time, a trip that he should enjoy. He gets the services of Daniel Moor and should be hard to beat in this contest.
ROCKET WINNER is a consistent sort and should be able to give the top choice a good run for his money.
QIJI DIAMOND is in good form and should be right there on his current form especially with Vladmir Duric in the saddle.
CIRCUIT STAR looks to be on the improve and can finish in the back end of quartets today.
RACE 3 (08:45) CLASS 4 TURF TRACK 'D' (SC) 1600M
SELECTIONS- 8-7-5-4-2
PISCA PISCA won his last two starts quite easily on this course, jockey Daniel Moor rides today and he should be able to pull off the hat-trick.
LITTLE MASTER won his last start over this trip. His last run over the minimum trip can be ignored as he was slow to begin. He should be the one giving the top selection a hard time in the run down to the line.
AUSPICIOUS DAY has good form over this trip and should be in the money.
TIGER FORCE’S runs before his last were impressive and if he brings that form to the races he should be able to find the money.
RACE 4 (09:15) RESTRICTED MAIDEN TURF TRACK 'D' (SC) 1400M
SELECTIONS- 1-2-3-5-9
MR ALEJANDRO is in a good vein of form and looks ready to break the maiden today. Jockey John Powell rides and if he reproduces the same run of form, he should be the one to beat.
MIGHTY VEIN is also in a good run of form and it would be no surprise if he finished ahead of the top selection with top jockey Ronald Woodworth aboard.
GOD’S GIFT improved nicely over the mile last time and if he confirms that recent improvement he must be considered for the minor money.
BELIEVER also has decent form and he should be in the quartets.
RACE 5 (09:45) CLASS 4 TURF TRACK 'D' (SC) 1200M
SELECTIONS - 6-1-8-10-9
FLYING TOURBILLON has been close to perfect in his two starts to date. He won impressively on debut and finished a close up third in his next run and he was unfortunately bumped at the start. Barring any interferences today he should be the one that they all have to beat.
ARNANTARA has not been out of the money in his three starts to date and if bringing that current form to this contest he should be the one to challenge the top selection.
LAI MAK MAK improved nicely when dropping to the five-furlong trip in his last outing, he steps up to six furlongs today and should be competitive. ST
ALWYN is also in a rich vein of form and he must be considered for the places with JP van der Merwe.
RACE 6 (10:20) OPEN MAIDEN TURF TRACK 'D' (SC) 1600M
SELECTIONS – 4-7-5-2-6
SCOOTER is always right there but never seems to get the job done, today he finds an open maiden field and he should finally be able to get the job done.
ZOFFSPEED had done well in his last two starts over the mile and if he brings that form to the race he should be right there.
LEMON SQUASH improved nicely in his last start over the mile and if he confirms that recent improvement he must be considered for the minor money.
HUNTSMAN is an inconsistent sort but if he puts his best foot forward, he should be able to finish in the money.
RACE 7 (10:50) CLASS 2 TURF TRACK 'D' (SC) 1200M
SELECTIONS – 7-1-11-4-3
ALTAIR has done nothing wrong in his three starts to date winning three out of his four starts. Two out of the three wins have come with today’s jockey Ronald Woodworth aboard and if he manages to produce the horse’s current form he should win again today.
TOP KNIGHT has been in top form and Vladmir Duric rides him today and he should be the biggest challenger to the top selection.
SALAMENCE was impressive when winning his last start. He faces stronger here today but should still be in the money.
YOU ROKK improved nicely to win last time and if he confirms that improvement, he should be able to be in the money.
RACE 8 (11:20) CLASS 3 POLYTRACK 1100M
SELECTIONS- 3-4-8-10-11
MY DREAMLINER is in scintillating form and he should be the one to side with. He jumps from gate one and apprentice Iskandar knows him well as he has won aboard him twice before. It will be tough to beat the top selection in this contest. The nearest challenger could come in the form of
EXCELLING who won his last start well and a repeat of that run should see him competitive.
TARO SAN is never far off and must be considered for the minor money.
COMING THROUGH has won his last two starts and must be considered for the quartets again today.
RACE 9 (17:50) CLASS 4 POLYTRACK 1000M
SELECTIONS - 1-4-7-10-9
MAN OF MYSTERY was bumped heavily on jumping in his last start and that cost him, but he did well to stay on into fourth. Reigning Singapore Champion Jockey Vladmir Duric rides today and he should go very close. The biggest challenger to the top choice should come in the form of
SACRED GIFT. He won his debut very impressively and he looks to have the potential to follow that up with another victory.
BASILISK was impressive when improving in her last start and can finish in the money if she repeats that run.
I AM BEAUTIFUL had problems close to home in her last start and if she doesn’t encounter any issues she must be considered.
