Austrian Grand Prix
Red Bull Ring
Sunday 5 July
Track
Once one of the most formidable race tracks in the world - during its heydey as the Osterreichring - Austria's Red Bull Ring has been somewhat subdued over the years with Red Bull Racing - the company that purchased the track in 2011 - make a number of changes to it.
It's a decent-sized track measuring in at 4.326 kilometres that stretches over 71 laps, which consists of 10 turns. There's a rather nice straight that runs from turn one (Niki Lauda Kurcve) and turn 3 (Remos).
From the starting line to the first corner (Nike Lauda Kurve) is a rather short distance and this means we usually get a lot of early drama as drivers go full tilt to get a good jump off the grid. Strangely enough, last year saw no retirement from the race but there were six retirements in 2018.

Fastest Qualifier
Valterri Bottas
While Bottas doesn't have the best of race records at the track - he's only claimed one win here and that victory came three years ago - he has a very healthy qualifying record having claimed pole in 2017 and 2018.
The Finn may well be worth
To Win Outright
Max Verstappen @ 27/20
The Red Bull man has a fantastic record at the track winning the 2018 and 2019 Grand Prix. He has matured as a driver since his debut season and it's rather ironic that he's gone back-to-back at the Red Bull Ring considering he crashed out at the venue during his debut season back in 2017. This just goes to show how he's become a much more level-headed driver.
At 37/20, the Dutchman offers fantastic value for a hat-trick in Austria.
