EDO FURIN ran a good race when finishing third over 2200m last time. He was slow into stride, but raced from a handy position and stayed on well at the finish. He gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Kyle Strydom which should help his cause. From his good draw of two, he may be the one to side with.

EUROSTORM showed good signs of a form return in his last start over a mile on this course. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. He takes a drops in class this afternoon and from pole position, may be the one to side with.

RUN FLORIST RUN finished 1.4 lengths behind COLORADO SPRINGS last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She won her only attempt over this C&D when shedding her maiden tag. She does have a wide draw to overcome, but she is likely to be switched off near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners in the run down to the line.
