Gloucester v Northampton
Kingsholm Stadium
Both Gloucester and Northampton will be eager to end their largely underwhelming
campaigns with a win at the Kingsholm.
The hosts sit just a single point below their opponents and can potentially leapfrog them into seventh as their season draws to an end.
The Saints will miss Courtney Lawes’ presence after the big forward was stretchered off midweek.
Leicester v Harlequins
Welford Road
Leicester will look to finish their season on a high with a win over Harlequins at Welford Road.
The Tigers have won just six times this campaign and would surely have been relegated if not for the Saracens saga. With the new season just a few weeks away, a win here will give them some confidence to start off with.
The sixth-placed Quins have all but secured their place in the Champions Cup and will look to break into the 50-point bracket on the table this weekend.
Verdict: Harlequins
Saracens v Bath
Allianz Park
Bath will be set on securing a playoff berth when they play Saracens in their Premiership swansong at Allianz Park.
A win will be enough to see Stuart Hooper’s men into the semi-finals with Sale and Bristol trailing them by just a single point. They’ll be up against it, though, with Sarries set to recall their first-choice players.
This will be the end of an era for the hosts. Sunday’s clash will be their final Premiership match for some time ahead of their impending relegation. They’ll come out all guns blazing.
Verdict: Saracens.
Wasps v Exeter
Ricoh Arena
Wasps can seal home ground advantage for their semi-final when they face Exeter at the Ricoh Arena.
Sitting just one point ahead of Bath, second-placed Wasps will be buoyed by the prospect of having to face the Chiefs’ second stringers this weekend. Still, a loss will be the end of their campaign.
With first place wrapped up, Rob Baxter’s second-choicers will get a run here.
Verdict: Wasps
Sale Sharks v Worcester
AJ Bell Stadium
Sale will play semi-final footy next week if they beat Worcester at the AJ Bell.
The Sharks are in fourth, level on points with fifth-placed Bristol but aided by their superior points-difference. They should be confident of claiming a win over the Warriors.
Despite having beaten Saracens last time out, Worcester will struggle to match the hosts’ intent here.
Verdict: Sale
London Irish v Bristol
Twickenham Stoop
Bristol can give themselves their best chance at sneaking into the playoff spots with a win over London Irish at the Stoop.
The Bears are in fifth, agonisingly level with Sale on points but one-upped by their inferior points-difference. A bonus-point win would give them their best shot at appearing in a first-ever semi-final.
London Irish may have ended their nine-game losing streak against Exeter last time out, but they may struggle against a hungry Bristol side.
Verdict: Bristol
