The Bundesliga returns to our screens this weekend. We left off with the champions Bayern Munich claiming a 3-2 victory at the home of their bitter rivals Borussia Dortmund. Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig complete a strong top-four at the summit of the standings.

Peter Bosz’s Leverkusen got their well-deserved revenge over Borussia Monchengladbach who pipped the Werkself to UEFA Champions League qualification at the back end of last season, with a 4-3 win at the Bay Arena.
It was business as usual for Julian Nagelsmann’s Red Bulls who brushed aside Freiburg by a 3-0 margin. Ten penalties were awarded in the previous matchday for the first time in almost 50 years. Don’t miss out on our 8/1 treble in this week’s preview.
Saturday 21 November
Hoffenheim 27/20
Draw 28/10
Stuttgart 33/20
Hoffenheim have struggled to compete on both fronts with their Bundesliga form woeful due to their Thursday night UEFA Europa League matches. After beating Bayern Munich 4-1, no one could have predicted the hosts going winless in five games, suffering four defeats in the process. Stuttgart will be hoping Hoffenheim have an eye on their midweek trip to the Czech Republic as they look to earn their first win at the PreZero Arena since 2012.
The Reds have made themselves hard to beat and will fancy themselves to at least snatch a draw. Stuttgart come into the clash unbeaten in six matches with two wins and four draws. Go into the Double Chance and Both Teams to Score market and select Draw-Away/Yes at 23/20.
Bayern Munich 1/8
Draw 8/1
Werder Bremen 14/1
The well-oiled Bayern Munich machine continues to roll on. The Bavarians claimed bragging rights and maximum points at Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park, so the question now is can Hansi Flick’s red brigade march on to back-to-back trebles. Werder Bremen come into the clash unbeaten in six matches, two victories over struggling Schalke and Arminia Bielefeld that is followed by four 1-1 draws against the likes of Freiburg, Hoffenheim, Eintracht Frankfurt and Cologne, however, I give the River Islanders no chance in this encounter. The Green-Whites received a 6-1 thrashing in their previous visit to the Allianz Arena, take Both Halves Over 1.5 Goals at 12/10.
Arminia Bielefeld 9/2
Draw 32/10
Bayer Leverkusen 11/20
Newly-promoted Arminia Bielefeld are precariously hovering around the relegation zone and come into this encounter with five defeats on the bounce. Bayer Leverkusen are massive favourites to claim all three points before hosting Hapoel Be'er Sheva on Thursday night in UEFA Europa League action.
Following a slow start, Leverkusen seem to have found their momentum with four wins on the trot and are one of only two clubs yet to taste defeat in the Bundesliga. Include the away win in all weekend multiples.
Schalke 26/10
Draw 51/20
Wolfsburg 1/1
Schalke are yet to claim a victory in the league having lost four times and holding on for three draws. Manuel Baum has replaced David Wagner as manager with the former Royal Blues centre-back hoping to change the team’s fortunes with back-to-back draws in his first two games at the helm.
Schalke have only won once on home soil in 2020 which doesn’t bode well for their chances. Wolfsburg join Bayer Leverkusen as the only teams yet to lose in the Bundesliga this campaign, largely thanks to their five draws. The Wolves have won back-to-back games at the Volkswagen Arena but their last win on their travels came against the same opponent in June by a 4-1 margin. At even money, Wolfsburg are well worth a punt.
Borussia Monchengladbach 5/10
Draw 7/2
Augsburg 9/2
Borussia Monchengladbach will be aiming to get back to winning ways after suffering a 4-3 loss to Bayer Leverkusen last time out that ended their eight-match unbeaten streak across all competitions, where they’ve faced the likes of Inter Milan and Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. In the last 18 matches at Borussia Park, Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund have only left with maximum points.
Augsburg will be hoping they don’t meet the Monchengladbach team that wiped the floor with Shakhtar Donetsk by a 6-0 scoreline in their own backyard. Despite upsetting Borussia Dortmund in the early stages of the season, Augsburg have now lost three of the last four games. The visitors are expected to lose their fourth straight match against the Foals, jump on the home win at 5/10 and include in all weekend multiples.
Eintracht Frankfurt 26/10
Draw 28/10
RB Leipzig 9/10
Eintracht Frankfurt come into the clash winless in four matches, drawing three times against the likes of Cologne, Werder Bremen and Stuttgart while losing to Bayern Munich. The Eagles have never lost to RB Leipzig at Deutsche Bank Park, winning three matches and drawing the other two ties which will give coach Adi Hutter’s men hope of getting something from the match.
RB Leipzig will jet off to Paris for UEFA Champions League action after this match. The Bulls are in great form, winning four times and losing once to Borussia Monchengladbach in five Bundesliga games. Aside from the defeat to Monchengladbach, Leipzig previously lost on their travels to the same opponent by a 2-0 margin. I’m playing it safe in this one and backing Both Teams to Score (Yes) at 5/10, which is the only bet I’m confident that will come home flying.
Hertha Berlin 7/2
Draw 3/1
Borussia Dortmund 7/10
Hertha Berlin earned only their second victory of the campaign with a resounding 3-0 win away at Augsburg with French midfielder Matteo Guendouzi making his first start for the Old Lady in style and surely taking some pressure of coach Bruno Labbadia.
Borussia Dortmund won four straight games against Schalke (3-0), Zenit St. Petersburg (2-0), Arminia Bielefeld (2-0) and Club Brugge (3-0) before suffering defeat to Bayern Munich. The Yellow and Blacks will be hoping to get back to that level of consistency to stay in the hunt for the Bundesliga Meisterschale (championship shield). Take the visitors to claim their fourth straight win in the late kick-off at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
Sunday 22 November
Freiburg 23/20
Draw 49/20
Mainz 23/10
Freiburg will be looking to break their winless spell with victory over rock-bottom Mainz. The Breisgau Brazilians head into the clash without a win in six games, sharing the spoils against Wolfsburg (1-1), Werder Bremen (1-1) and Union Berlin (1-1), while losing to much stronger opposition in Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig convincingly.
Mainz earned the first point of their woeful season to date following six straight defeats where the Carnival Club shipped 20 goals but only scored just seven times. I’m backing Freiburg to beat Mainz for the third consecutive game at 23/20.
Cologne 7/4
Draw 23/10
Union Berlin 31/20
Cologne are struggling and look certain to fight against relegation the entire season. The Billy Goats are yet to earn victory with three draws in their last four games putting their only points on the board.
Union Berlin, on the other hand, are relishing their time in Bundesliga with three wins and three draws from their last six matches which will have their camp full of belief that they can compound the misery on Cologne and leave with maximum points. Safest way to go will be Both Teams to Score at 7/10 to occur for the third consecutive match between these opponents.
TREBLE @ 8/1
Bayern Munich vs Werder Bremen Both Halves Over 1.5 Goals 12/10
Wolfsburg Win 1/1
Freiburg Win 23/20
