The 3rd placed finisher Spice Lady boosted that formline with a solid subsequent victory. This daughter of Mogok should continue to progress and the mile will be right up her alley. She has a good late burst so her wide draw isn't a major issue and she can go one better today.

TALBEC has had his two comeback runs after being rested and gelded and today is definitely his time to shine. The four-year-old bay is 1kg better off with
PYRAMUS and
ROYAL HONOUR for a narrow defeat last time and he can turn things around on his peak outing. The imported son of High Chaparral is drawn best of all and he gets the services of top jockey Gavin Lerena.

The imported daughter of Nicconi benefitted from her sprint debut experience as she quickened smartly to shed her maiden tag over this c & d, second time out. She easily beat subsequent winner Little Swift that day and would have strengthened during her eleven-week layoff. She appears underrated on her handicap debut and could take full advantage despite facing older rivals for the first time in her career. The bay filly could certainly be one worth following.
