SYLVAN ON FIRE continues to improve with experience and the classy four-year old ran way above her rating when she finished strongly for a close 4th in a Grade 2 contest over a mile on this course four weeks ago. Her current rating indicates that she has work to do in this field but the daughter of Silvano is certainly better than that. She had the highly rated subsequent Grade 3 winner
CASCAPEDIA behind her when winning her penultimate effort over this distance. The former is 0.5kg to the good.

TORRE DEL ORO has shown vast improvement since being gelded and he is clearly on the up. He prefers a solid gallop though and he finished strongly to beat a decent field over this c & d on yielding ground two weeks ago. The Trippi gelding was penalized five pounds for that recent victory but he has more to offer and can complete the hat-trick despite the steep rise in class.
