Pau and Toulon will clash in a game that will have a massive bearing on next weekend's Top 14 play-offs.
Pau face the unenviable task of having to beat Toulon in order to have any chance of qualifying for the knockout phase of the Top 14. The hosts are currently two points adrift of sixth place Castres and a further two points behind fifth-placed Lyon. And it's not like Toulon will come to tow with no motivation either as they still have a chance of claiming second place and avoiding next weekend's play-off round.

Pau face an uphill battle if they are to get into the play-offs. They will need either Castres to lose to lowly Oyannax or for Lyon to go down to Montpellier and fail to pick up a bonus point, while they'd have to beat Toulon and claim a bonus point. Certainly not the position you want to find yourselves in headed into the final set of fixtures.
This weekend's hosts have proved a tricky side to topple at home this year and it would be no surprise to see them get one over Toulon. However, their recent form is rather disappointing as they went down 45-13 to Montpellier last weekend.
Toulon
Toulon will be quietly pleased with their domestic season thus far. While they are yet to shoot the lights out, they have paced their run rather well and could sneak into second position should Toulouse and Racing slip up this weekend.
Toulon head into this one in decent enough touch, having claimed an impressive 53-19 victory over Castres last week. The result illustrated just how dangerous the team from the French capital are given time and space to work with.
Verdict: Toulon 9/4
I'll be having a small strike on the away side here. Toulon tend to produce their best rugby during the play-offs.
