Ireland will be looking to bounce back from their opening round defeat to England when they take on a talented Scottish outfit on Saturday the 9th of February.
Ireland and Scotland will lock horns at Murrayfield in the Round 2 headline clash of the 2019 Six Nations. The two sides endured contrasting fortunes on the opening week with Scotland claiming a bonus point victory from their game against Italy and Ireland getting nothing from their home defeat to the English.

The 'Scots enjoyed a profitable start to their Six Nations campaign as they registered a 33-20 bonus point victory over minnows Italy.
While this weekend's hosts will be pleased with claiming the maximum amount of points from their first outing, head coach Gregor Townsend won't be at all pleased with their second-half showing which was extremely laid back and culminated in them letting Italy score three tries in the final seven minutes of the game.
Townsend's boys will need to be far more switched on defensively this weekend as Ireland will be looking for a big response after last week's defeat.

It may still be early doors in the tournament but Ireland will know that their title defence will be dangling by a thread should they go down to the 'Scots this Saturday. Their opening round 20-32 defeat to the English at the Aviva Stadium really put a dampener on their title defence as they now are playing catch-up.
Let's be frank about last week's performance from the Irish. It was one of the most sloppy and unmotivated displays they have produced in the past five years. Their forwards were outclassed at the set piece and breakdown, while their usually ultra-reliable half-back pairing of Sexton and Murray failed to control the game.
We can expect a big response from the Irish this weekend, though, as they are a class act. In fact, last week's defeat may actually be a blessing in disguise for this Irish team who may have been slightly guilty of believing their own hype last weekend.
Verdict: Ireland (-7.5) 9/10
This should be an absolute attacking spectacle with both teams possessing strong back lines. I'm expecting the Irish to edge what will surely be a high scorer.
