A series that started as a mere formality for India will now turn into a desperate bid to save face.
Bangladesh recorded their first-ever win over India in the first match in Delhi leaving skipper Rohit Sharma to put out a few media fires while also preparing for the rest of the series.

Sharma had the unfortunate distinction of being at the wheel when Indian cricket slammed into a Bangladesh pothole but he has a chance to set things right in Rajkot.
Rishabh Pant has come in for some stick after his dodgy DRS calls cost India the wicket of Mushfiqur Rahim during Bangladesh's chase. Pant has been struggling for form with the bat of late and those DRS calls have heaped more pressure on him.
India missed out on several opportunities to kill off that Bangladesh chase but were not as ruthless as we have become accustomed to the side being under Virat Kohli.
The last T20I India played in Rajkot ended in defeat to New Zealand when Colin Munro cut loose. India would likely prefer the pitch to favour batting to allow Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan to take the game away from the Tigers early.
India need to be sharper across all three areas of the game having given Bangladesh a sniff with defeat in the opener.
Bangladesh
Bangladesh got a little lucky in their chase in the opening match but will take a great deal of heart from recording a famous victory.
The Tigers might have had some luck with the willow in hand but an excellent bowling display kept them in the contest in Delhi. There might be some worry about the form of Mustafizur Rahman though, who bowled just two overs.
Bangladesh will be under no illusions that clinching the series will be easy and will need to step up intensity in the field and make better decisions when batting to stand a chance of a series win.
Mushfiqur Rahim was at his stubborn best in getting his team home in the first match, but a bigger task could see a batting unit missing two big names struggle.
Verdict: India 1/6
India should be able to find a response even without Kohli.
