We’re edging closer to the major European tournament taking place next year with plenty of teams having already booked their spot into 2020’s showpiece.
Italy and Belgium have stood out amongst the rest, winning all of their games played so far. But will it be as easy to predict their encounters this time around? Let’s find out…

We kick-start the UEFA Euro qualifiers in Zenica where Bosnia and Herzegovina look to become the first team in Group J to take points off Italy. In Turin, the Italians came out 2-1 victors and have won all eight of their group stage encounters so far, booking an early spot in next year’s Euro edition. Bosnia sit in third spot and will be hoping Finland fail to win, which, in all honesty, seems highly unlikely.
Despite qualification already sealed, Italy are worth a punt at 12/10.

Sweden 15/10
It’s all to play for on Friday night as Romania and Sweden do battle in an all-important Group F encounter. With Spain well-clear in the group, both teams sit in third and second respectively as they eye an automatic spot into next year’s edition of the tournament. Romania will be out of the race if they lose, while Sweden would seal qualification with a win.
The hosts lost 2-1 in Solna back in March and are tipped to lose again – put your money on the away win.

Scotland 21/20
Saturday afternoon throws up an interesting tie between Cyprus and Scotland. Neither side can qualify via the group stages, but Scotland are already certain of a play-off spot. Cyprus have lost all six meetings against Scotland in their history and might find the going tough again here.
My money is on the visitors.
Russia 24/10

Belgium 1/1
Group I juggernauts Russia and Belgium do battle in St. Petersburg with both sides already booking their spot in 2020’s Euro edition. Russia have won seven and lost just one of their eight matches which came against the Belgians, who have won all eight of their fixtures. Russia are also yet to beat Belgium in six matchups, losing four times.
The away win looks well worth a punt here at even money.
Azerbaijan 57/10

Wales 5/10
Saturday evening’s action continues as Azerbaijan look for their first win on the board as they host Wales in Baku. The hosts have drawn one of their six ties and have lost the rest as they lie bottom of Group E. Wales need a result here to stay in contention of qualifying and will fancy their chances of getting something after claiming a 2-1 win over their opponents in Cardiff.
Back the away win.
Croatia 5/10

Slovakia 11/2
Up next, Croatia and Slovakia lock horns in what should be a fairly favourable tie for the hosts. Croatia just need a point to qualify, but will be pushing for more after their 4-0 win over Slovakia in September. In their last 13 games played in Rijeka, the Croats are yet to lose, winning 10 of those encounters.
I suggest including the home win in all multiples.
Northern Ireland 6/1

Netherlands 9/20
The action continues in Belfast where Northern Ireland will look to pull off a miraculous result and get something off Netherlands. The hosts haven’t beaten the Dutch in their last five encounters, losing three times. Ronald Koeman’s side just need a draw to qualify, while Northern Ireland will be out of a chance of progressing if Germany better their result.
The away win looks worth it at 9/20.

In one of the most one-sided affairs, Germany welcome Belarus to Borussia-Park in Monchengladbach this Saturday. The hosts just need to better Northern Ireland’s result to book their spot in the 2020 Euros. Belarus can no longer qualify via Group C, but do have their sights set on a play-off spot.
Germany’s young guns should wipe the floor with Belarus here – back them on the (-1) Handicap at 1/5.
Austria 7/20

North Macedonia 13/2
Austria hope to book their spot in the Euros when they face North Macedonia. The hosts just need a draw to qualify into next year’s showpiece, but after claiming a commanding 4-1 win in Skopje, Austria will surely fancy their chances of getting a victory. It could also be the first time that Austria make back-to-back Euro tournaments.
I’d take the hosts on the (-1) Handicap here at 8/10.

Poland 27/20
We end the preview with what should be a goal fest when Israel host Poland in Jerusalem. The Israelites have scored 15 goals and conceded just as many in their eight games played. They also boast the qualifiers’ top scorer, Eran Zahavi, in their ranks, who has 11 goals to his name. Poland have a lethal goalscorer of their own in Robert Lewandowski, who has netted five times already, but with qualification already wrapped up, perhaps the visitors could take their foot off the gas here.
My money is on the home win.
