The top and bottom of the table are heating up and the contest for European competition and the fight against relegation is now in the final third.
Without further ado, let’s get straight into the matchups.
Saturday 3 April
Borussia Dortmund 15/20

Eintracht Frankfurt 32/10
Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt go head-to-head for the 29th time in a fixture that is bound to produce goals based on history. However, this season’s first meeting between the two ended in a 1-1 stalemate at Eintracht’s Deutsche Bank Park. Both teams form guides are on two wins, two draws and a loss each in their last five matches. Eintracht last beat Dortmund in the league when they did the double in the 2015/16 season.
This season could be the one as they look to cement their Champions League hopes in fourth position by going seven points clear with a win over the Black and Yellows, who are currently fourth place. Edin Terzic has some tough decision making going into the tie, with the bonus of English youngster Jadon Sancho likely back from injury and then the trip to England in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final to take on competition favourites, Manchester City. The variables will make for an interesting team selection. Despite a possible shuffle in the lineup, back the Black and Yellows at 15/20.
Bayer Leverkusen 2/9

Bayer Leverkusen have Union Berlin breathing down their necks and Die Wekself are doing the exact same to Dortmund. Hannes Wolf needs to get his boys back into winning form after going winless in eight games in all competitions and a tie with Schalke this season is basically three points handed on a silver platter. Schalke’s season has been one of the most disastrous in top flight football this season with just a single win in the Bundesliga.
There is nothing to be excited about when watching Schalke this season, even after the bolstering of their defence by signing Shkodran Mustafi and Sead Kolasinac. Leading the attack and the team as captain is Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, but the former Real Madrid striker is on the bad side of 35 and without a goal this season, Schalke have scraped two goals in their last eight matches. I cannot see this fixture going any other way, so, to add value on the obvious winners – Leverkusen and Over 2.5 at 7/10. For the risk takers, another good-looking option would be the Multiscores market: 1:0, 2:0, or 3:0 at 11/10.
Wolfsburg 5/10

Koln 5/1
The first tie at Koln’s Rhein Energie Stadion earlier this season was a four-goal thriller that ended in the pair sharing the spoils. Wolfsburg have bounced back with two wins on the trot after bowing out of the DFP Pokal and taking their first loss in the league since the beginning of January.
Oliver Glasner will be without his first choice left-back, Paulo Otavio, due to suspension, but the team have been in high spirits with seven goals in the past two games and will surely look to add to their tally. Koln are on a poor run of form and every game is now a ‘do or die situation’ to claw their way out of relegation, and a win over Wolfsburg could boost them out of the relegation zone. I see Wolfsburg cementing Koln at the bottom, and to add some meat on the bone, back over 2.5 goals on top of the Wolfsburg win at 27/20.
Mainz 9/10

Arminia Bielefeld 31/10
This is the dog fight of the weekend, and when the home team FSV Mainz welcomes Arminia Bielefeld to the Opel Arena, the three points between the two will be extremely precious. The Carnival Club have done the total opposite of clowning around in their recent fixtures, securing 10 points of the possible 15 in their last five matches, and have put on a real fight towards the back end of the season this far. Arminia Bielefeld managed to gain a tad bit of confidence with a 2-1 away win against Bayer Leverkusen, after seven winless games, but only to be brought back down to earth with a loss to title challenges RB Leipzig. Back Mainz to take the home win.
Augsburg 26/10

Hoffenheim 19/20
After traveling to Frieburg’s newly erected SC-Stadion to lose 2-0, Augsburg have now managed just one clean sheet in their last 12 Bundesliga fixtures. Augsburg are in poor home form while Hoffenheim are performing poor in away games.
Hoffenheim will not make life any easier when they arrive at the WWK Arena and will have a definite boost with their striker Andrej Kramaric netting 14 and assisting three times. Yet, they are still without seven of their players due to injury, three of which have scored this season. Despite injury setbacks, Sebastian Hoeneb has done a decent job in recent weeks. My tip is Hoffenheim at 19/20.
RB Leipzig 23/10

Bayern Munich 19/20
If you’re looking for a juicy clash this weekend, second-placed RB Leipzig look to bring the points gap to just one for Bundesliga glory when they take on the German giants Bayern Munich. The last three meetings between the two have been three draws with the last matchup being an absolute stunner ending 3-3. RB Leipzig will welcome Bayern to the Red Bull Arena where their home form has been excellent this season, losing just one of their 13 home fixtures.
If Die Rotten Bullen wish to lift the Bundesliga Meisterschale this season, this is the moment to grab it by the horns. Hans-Dieter Flick and Die Roten know this is the pivotal game of their season as they are on the brink of securing their 30th Bundesliga trophy. Robert Lewandowski is spearheading the Bavarians title charge with 35 goals to his name this campaign, just five goals off equalling the league record. No guts, no glory! You can expect goals with Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals at 6/10.
Borussia Monchengladbach 15/20

Freiburg 33/10
Monchengladbach defeated Schalke 3-0, overcoming a seven-game losing streak in a match that is almost a certified three points this season in the Bundesliga. With Marcus Thuram’s tremendous presence down the left-hand side and captain Lars Stindl taking his goal tally to 11 this season, Marco Rose will be in good spirits over his teams’ performance heading into the clash.
Freiburg failed to score in four of their last five league outings, before bagging two goals in their last game against Augsburg to secure three much-needed points since slipping out of a top-six finish. The Breisgau Brazilians sit on an even 39 goals-for and 39 goals-against, with not much in either department to give confidence in. Get on Borussia Monchengladbach at 15/20.
Sunday 4 April
Stuttgart 9/10

Werder Bremen 29/10
The first whistle to blow on Sunday will take place at the Mercedez-Benz Arena where Stuttgart welcome Werder Bremen who have now lost back-to-back games. The Reds have been on a good run of form with their only loss in the past five games at the hands of log leaders, Bayern Munich. In the 25 matches played between the two, Stuttgart have come out on top with 10 wins, and seven draws, whilst Werder Bremen hold eight wins to their name. The game will be tightly contested considering both have last ditch efforts to make top six for Stuttgart and Werder Bremen to clear the relegation zone by 10 points. Back Stuttgart to win at 9/10.
Union Berlin 15/10

Hertha Berlin 37/20
Union Berlin are on the cusp of a European table place, just one point from sixth thanks to their present opponents Hertha BSC who defeated sixth-placed Bayer Leverkusen in the last gameweek with an emphatic 3-0 football display. Union Berlin have one win in their last five with two losses back-to-back and the need for a decent run of results is of utmost importance for Urs Fischer.
The Iron Ones will fight this battle in their backyard and this encounter will prove to be a must-win, especially if they wish to keep vying for European football next season as their matchup in the following gameweek will be against Bayern Munich, which is the tallest order for any team in the league. Both teams have something to fight for other than pride, the winner is a flip of the coin, so, Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score is the way to go at 14/10.
