PERSIAN APPROVAL continues to be ultra-consistent and his conditioner may have found the 'perfect' race for him to claim that deserved first career victory. The Mike Azzie trained gelding only got going late after being slow into stride last time but that formline could be worth following. The three-year old gelding will appreciate this longer run-in and Hewitson knows him well.

The son of Bold Silvano was upped four pounds for the victory but he should handle today's extra furlong and clearly has more to offer. The likely sedate gallop could play right into his hands and Muzi Yeni retains the ride.
