Toulon will be looking to secure top spot in the Champions Cup Pool 5 standings when they take on the Scarlets out in Wales on Saturday the 20th of January.
It will be all to play for at the Park Y Scarlets this weekend with the hosts and the visitors looking to secure passage to the next round of the tournament. There's not much separating the two sides on the Pool 5 standings with Toloun only a solitary point ahead of the Scarlets. As such, the victor will not only qualify for the next round but also enjoy a home quarter-final.

Scarlets 4/10 | Draw 20/1 | Toulon 18/10
Llanelli Scarlets
Who would have thought the Scarlets would have found themselves in such a handy position. The Welsh side were pretty much outsiders for a qualification berth with most pundits tipping Bath and Toulon to advance from the pool. Flash forward a few months and not only can the Scarlets get out of the pool but they can actually top it with a victory over Toulon.
The Welsh outfit come into this one off the back of a very impressive 17-35 away win over Bath. The victory was only their second of the campaign but due to their penchant for picking up bonus points, the Scarlets find themselves in with a real chance of advancing to the next round. They will need to put in another big performance here especially with third-placed Bath likely to claim a bonus point win from their encounter with pool whipping boys Treviso.
RC Tolounnasis
It has been a far from vintage Champions Cup run from Toloun thus far but the French giants still hold the cards heading into this weekend as they currently sit top of the pops in Pool 5. A victory here, regardless of if they accrue a bonus point or not, would ensure that the mega-rich club advance to the next phase of the competition.
The French club will come into this one in a rather confident mood after they beat Trevison 36-0 last weekend. They may pay for that victory, however, after centre Mathieu Basteraud was cited for using rather crude an unnecessary language during the final salvos of last weekend's victory. If the big man does miss out, his place in the starting XV is likely to be taken by All Black Malakai Feikitoa. Not a bad replacement that!
Verdict: Scarlets 4/10
Toulon have not impressed me this term. Their away form has been horrific domestically and they're likely to struggle in Wales. As such, my money is firmly on the hosts winning this one.
