Our soccer pundit previews the German Bundesliga week 28 action which kicks off on Saturday the 31st March 2018.
Bayern Munich fell to a disappointing 2-1 defeat at Leipzig last time out which would have frustrated the Bavarians as the reigning champions would have needed just one more win to wrap up a sixth consecutive title.
Bayern will take on rivals Borussia Dortmund this weekend and the Black and Yellow army will be determined to slow the Bavarians down even more. Let’s get to it!

Hannover are placed 13th on the table, winless in their last five matches with four consecutive losses. Leipzig will be confident after grinding out a 2-1 home win over runaway-leaders Bayern Munich last time out.
The reverse tie went down to the wire with the Red Bulls earning a 2-1 victory.
Another tight affair is expected, but Leipzig are tipped to complete the double over their opponents.
Hoffenheim 5/10

Cologne 9/2
Hoffenheim are unbeaten in their last four matches and have won four of their last six games on their turf. Cologne are placed second from bottom on the log with just two wins from 13 travels, scoring 11 goals.
Die Kraichgauer ran riot in the corresponding tie, claiming a 3-0 victory.
With Cologne fighting relegation, it should be a much tighter matchup, however, Hoffenheim should manage to get up for the win.
Stuttgart 15/20

Hamburg 15/4
Stuttgart are undefeated in their last seven matches, including five wins. The Reds have been strong on their ground and will look to utilize home advantage. Hamburg find themselves at the foot of the table without a win in their last 14 games.
Stuttgart have won the last three meetings at home against Hamburg and are well worth a punt to make it four in a row.
Back the hosts to claim maximum points.
Bayer Leverkusen 5/10

Augsburg 5/1
Bayer Leverkusen have been inconsistent in recent weeks, while Augsburg have managed just one win from their last six matches.
This is one of those games that can go either way, but I’m backing die Werkself to make home advantage count.

Schalke have been in top form in recent weeks with five straight wins, scoring seven goals and conceding just once. Freiburg have been terrible on the road this season with just one win from 13 travels and that doesn’t look like improving here.
Schalke edged the reverse tie 1-0 and should get up for the win in front of their own fans.
The home win is the way to go.

The Bundesliga blockbuster will see Bayern Munich lock horns with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening at the Allianz Arena. The Bavarians will be determined to get back to winning ways following their 2-1 defeat at Leipzig, which ended a run of six straight wins on the road.
Dortmund have been in top form in recent weeks, going unbeaten in their last 12 matches with back-to-back wins. An end-to-end contest is expected with the teams likely to come out firing from the get-go.

Hertha Berlin ended a winless run of four matches before the international break with a 2-1 win away to Hamburg. Wolfsburg are without a victory in their last seven games with five defeats, including three consecutive losses.
Back the Old Lady to make home advantage count.

Eintracht Frankfurt 2/1
Werder Bremen are unbeaten in their last four matches with three wins, including two victories on the bounce. Eintracht Frankfurt have lacked consistency in recent weeks and have struggled on the road of late with three losses in a row.
The River Islanders are unbeaten in their last eight home games, winning the last three. However, both sides have been scoring goals at will and this makes for a high-scoring encounter.
The Totals – Over 2.5 Goals – is tipped at even money.

Monchengladbach 7/4
Last but not least, Mainz and Monchengladbach will round off this weekend’s action. Die Nullfunfer have been poor of late with back-to-back losses, conceding four goals without finding the back of the net.
Monchengladbach have lost six of their last seven matches.
With both teams struggling for form, the Under 2.5 Goals market is tipped at 17/20.
